I recently ordered takeout from Green Tea and was pretty disappointed with the meal. I got boneless spare ribs, an egg roll, white rice, and crab rangoons. The crab rangoons were okay--I'd give them a 3/5. The filling was decent, but nothing special. The boneless spare ribs, however, lacked flavor. They were completely drenched in sweet red sauce, which overpowered everything. I could barely taste the meat itself. The white rice was the worst part--way too mushy and watery, like they added too much water to the rice pot. Definitely not good. The only real highlight was the egg roll--it was by far the best part of the meal. Crispy, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for. For the price, I expected better flavor and quality. However, I will say the takeout bag was a nice surprise--it's a reusable tote, which is a cool touch. I've ordered from here once before and it was actually pretty good. However this time around it was just all wrong.

Is the food here awesome? Yes. No doubt about it. However is the woman who was working the drive thru at 1:19 on 9/10 rude as all get out? Yes. No doubt about it. Green tea, awesome food though. AWESOME. Absolutely delicious.

Crab rangoons were delicious. The sweet and sour chicken could've been crunchier but it still had good taste. The noodles were over powering with whatever sauce they put in them. GIANT servings which was nice.

Tl;Dr Green Tea is American style Chinese food done well. I was missing San Gabriel Valley/Monterey Park during a trip to Wisconsin and Green Tea had some items beyond the typical American Chinese food options you see in the middle of nowhere. I was able to please the basic and non-basic eaters with my group order. Mango tea with or without boba is a solid choice and recommended.

Had the general Taos chicken. Spicy, delicious, crispy breading, and to much food for one sitting. Awesome!!

The food is pretty good, only complaint is the fried rice. Doesn't taste authentic, too much onion

Great food, good prices, and relatively quick. Typically we go for the Szechwan chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and teriyaki chicken.

Decided to try out the Chinese drive through and love it! Good food, reasonably fast, and I don't even have to get out of my car!

We had decided ahead of time what to order. While there are tables, they are bare -- no condiments, no napkin dispenser, no hot sauce, nothing. There is also no water service -- you have to buy bottled water or soda, which we declined to do. I was ordering Mu Shi Pork as an appetizer to be shared, when I was informed that the restaurant didn't make pancakes! They just put the food on a plate with rice. Pretty hard to slather on hoisin sauce and eat it with our fingers. The lady ordered 3 egg rolls instead. When the food came, the egg rolls were the size of my thumb -- 2 bites -- for $1.49 each. Very little taste. I ordered Szechuan Beef, $10.99, according to the website menu. It looked and tasted good, but had very little hot in it. The portion was small compared to every other Chinese restaurant outside Green Bay that I've been in. The fried rice came in a bowl the size of a coffee cup. My son ordered Szechuan Chicken, $9.99. He said the chicken was rubbery with not much flavor, and a similar portion size. His wife ordered Lo Mein and ate it all. $8.99 We weren't given an itemized receipt, just a total of $49.17, with a $1 "convenience fee" for using a credit card. Something doesn't add up, as $4.50 + $11 + 10 + $9 = $34.50. Apparently, the online menu prices are no longer valid, so don't believe them and expect to get an inexpensive meal. We spent $60 with tax and tip, and all left a little hungry. Hardly anything went right for an eat-in dinner, hence 2 stars. Would have been one star, but the food tasted OK.
