So much for Greenberg's Repair Service, I Purchased a $1300 ring from GB several years ago, took into store today to have it resized, which I fully intended on paying for. The only reason I even went there is because that is where the ring was purchased and the last time I sent it in to have it re-rhodiumed they polished the setting a little too much and really changed the appearance of the setting, so I wanted to see if that could be repaired as well. (yes... I still have all my receipts and amazingly, I also have the sales catalog that shows my ring) The saleswomen took my ring in the back room (supposedly to have their onsite goldsmith look at it) and returned rather quickly I would say no more than a couple minutes later and told me that my ring could not be resized. I was given a lame excuse for the reason. (this ring has a solid band in the back with no diamond setting in that area) so I took it to two other jewelers in the same mall, they both couldn't see any reason why GB said it couldn't be resized, so I am having a Greenberg's competitor do the work for me. I have purchased many pieces from Greenberg's over the years, but after today I will never buy another thing from them. The customer service has greatly decreased since they closed the Mall of the Bluff's location. That's okay though. Moving forward, I'll just buy my jewelry elsewhere. I mean who wants to buy from a jewelry store that refuses to fix their own merchandise. The service at Westroad's has much to be desired. If I could give them zero stars It would be more fitting to their service. I sure wish I could figure out how to contact GB's corporate office; I would surely love to hear what they have to say....ugh!!!! read more

Only reason they get 2 stars is because the ladies who sold me the ring and I dealt with the first time were very friendly and good. But I custom designed a very expensive ring from here, however when I received the ring much later the diamond is set very obviously crooked. Took it back to had it straightened and it was returned with a prong out of alignment. Took it back a second time and they walked the ring behind a door for a few moments before bringing it back out to me saying it was all fixed, but it fact it hadn't been altered at all. There will not be a third visit. read more

Lost a diamond in my eternity band I was given in Barbados ....Greenbergs replaced the diamond with one of equal quality .....it only took a couple weeks... they checked the entire ring and the setting to make sure the settings were all secure...they put it in a beautiful box, ..with some jewelry cleaner for that extra touch! We decided to come in to the store to look at rings and it was THE BEST experience I could have asked for. Attention to detail is terrible! Ordered a custom design ring. When it came in, it was the wrong size because they failed to note a size on the order form. Thankfully I had the protection plan for free resizing. The manager said he would ship me the ring when it was resized for free and I saw him write the note to have it shipped. 4 days later I received a text to pick up my ring. When I called, they had no note to ship it. They would verify it was ok to ship with the manager and get it sent out. Ring was shipped and I was given a tracking number. The tracking address didn't match my address, but I couldn't see the details to tell why. I contacted the store to verify where they shipped the ring and they just repeated my address instead of verifying what they typed into the actual shipping system. When it finally arrived, my friendly UPS driver said she noticed my name on the package with a wrong address and grabbed the package off the wrong route and fixed it in their system otherwise I would not have received it since it required a signature. Three strikes and I'm done with this location! The only star is that the other jewelry I purchased that day was nice and I finally did get my beautiful ring. read more

I do not buy a lot of jewerly but when I do, I have purchased it at Greenbergs in Sioux City. I have established some great relationships there. The staff is always extremely nice and very helpful when looking to pick something out. I have never felt pressured to buy anything when looking at the store. In fact, I recently purchased an engagement ring. I had my mind set on some certain criteria in a ring such as size, cut, and color. After picking out the band, Jeff had some diamonds shipped in to look at for the center mount. I heavily learned on their expertise and eyes to select the right diamond. If we would would have stayed in the range of my criteria, they would have probably got $5,000 more dollars out of me on the purchase. I took their recommendation and it was an incredibly beautiful ring and it saved me a lot of money. I compared the diamond that I was purchasing to prices on sites like Blue Nile. Where you can specify the size, cut, color, etc... The price I paid was better than any on-line store and I got to hold and see the ring under the right lights. I can't thank them enough for their service and professionalism. I personally trust them no matter the amount of the purchase. I hope to never buy another engagement ring again. However, they have some beautiful jewerly otherwise. The only place that I will shop due to proven service and relationships. read more

This place is fantastic!! Have bought a few things from here and their customer service is some of the best I've received anywhere. They are all so polite and treat you like a person and not just someone who is going to give them money. Awful experience-do not recommend. One of the store managers-ended up friend requesting me on my private Facebook page 8 months after my then boyfriend was in the midst of purchasing a ring who I went with to go ring shopping. I ended up needing my ring sized after he proposed and the closest store under warranty was 3.5 hours away. I called the store manager to inquire about hopefully expediting the process with a store closer and she never followed up with me. We then contacted another store manager who helped find a store closer to my fiancé and I and that store was GREAT. They sized my ring, found that 7 stones were loose and saw that one diamond was darker than the rest. They sent the bill to another store manager of Greenberg's-who had stated that since we have had a poor experience that she would take care of the costs. The bill was sent to Greenberg's who had attitude with the store who sized it and fixed the ring and didn't want to cover the bill. Overall both store managers were unprofessional and we would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

After telling Adela, Mara and Ciera my story; Adela immediately started giving me ideas of rings and I am so glad I had photos of my lost rings. Adela drew a picture of my rings and the process of recreating my lost rings began. They are absolutely the best in getting what you want. I recommend this store to everyone.
