They are located close to Providence and lots of shopping g nearby in Seekonk. The office staff has been friendly, patient and responsive, especially Tracey. The maintenance staff is always responsive and quick, we can't thank Jeremy enough. We looked at other apartment communities and this one has great amenities (in-unit laundry, pool, fitness center, tennis courts, etc) especially for the price. There are a couple of reasons for taking the star away. One is that the wall on the side of the stove doesn't have a backsplash so it was easily stained pretty immediately. The second is that there is only one trash area on the property, forcing you to either walk a good distance to get rid of trash, or put it in your car to dispose of it. Finally, the bedrooms and living room area don't have overhead lighting, so you have to have lamps unless you want to sit in darkness. Also, the AC doesn't go below 70 degrees. You are responsible for your own utilities so I'm not sure the rationale there, but it was a pretty warm August for us.

Pros: Staff is very friendly, and always willing to help with whatever issues I may have. Security is good, and you never worry while coming home late. It's simply a beautiful building with a very interesting past. It used to be a club that would play some real headliners. My apartment is spacious and bright, with original floors and all. Cons: It's very noisy on weekends (but of course it would be as any place would that's surrounded by bars) The windows (this is a personal issue, and not something that is really a complaint) I'm short. Opening those windows were a real struggle and now I can't close them because I can't reach. This mean's I'll have to call maintenance for a ladder each time I want them opened or closed. The food dispenser was clogged and the washer was filthy, again a personal problem because they offered to clean and fix everything before I moved in but I chose to move in sooner rather than later, not giving them time to fix the issue. The only real issue I have is that there are fruit flies in my apartment and they are PERSISTENT. Having worked in the bar industry for five years, you'd think I would be able to get rid of them but they just keep breeding. I don't know if this is a maintenance issue that I can call them on, or if I have to call some form of pest control. The only reason it bothers me so much is because my kitchen is always clean, and yet they are just here. I hate that they keep getting into my cat's food when I leave it out for her. ALL IN ALL, I would def recommend the peerless building for anyone wanting to be downtown.

Diamond Star Property Management is by far one of the better companies out there for managing your property, Trust me I seen a lot of hacks out there and in the State of RI you don't need to have a license to be a property manager let that one sink in! There are plenty out there that will take you money, decimate your budget, and then play the drama games with you. I brought Karen Maw and her group into 2 properties that I sit on the condo boards as the current President. With her going through our books and our vendors we were able to save the association $12K/year that the previous boards were wasting the homeowners funds. She is no nonsense and is not going to butter you up if that is what you're looking for she not for you. Folks you are adults act like it for once! There is another association where she has manage over 15+ years in the 11 years owning a property there my condo fee only has gone up $30 and my condo fees are under $200/month. Its unheard of ... Word of advice maintain a paper trail with anything you do, documentation is key in anything. Remember feeling doesn't solve problems solutions do. The maint staff is so friendly they always say hello and ask about your day. As a college student I love living here. I just signed another year lease and I am happy I did. This apartment will charge your money for no reason and treat their customers very mean!!! In the early of this month, my boyfriend and I dropped by this apartment's office to look for our new home. A big white woman asked us to fill out some application charts to help them gain our detailed information. After that, she asked us to get some extra documents for them. When we prepared to leave, this woman required us to leave $100 check as this apartment's deposit. However, when we come back to the office, the staff told us we were denied by their company. That means, they could not rent us this apartment just because I had few times late payments for my old apartment. But at that day, I forgot to ask them to return my $100 check. After a week, I visited their office again to ask them to return my check; they said they could not return it because this $100 check is a non-refundable deposit. I am very angry because nobody told me this is a non-refundable check before I paid it. I tried to negotiate with them (a old lady and that big white woman), but they totally did not give me a chance to talk with them. What is worse, they yelled to me and threatened me by security and cops. I was so scared and helpless, so I decided to call 911 to get help. When I stayed outside at their office, I still could hear that big white woman continued to abuse me by using some terrible words. And as a international student, I recommend that all the international students should not live there. They treat foreigners in a very bad attitude. Actually, this white woman is a person who always shows terrible racial discrimination, so, if you are not a true white, you should be careful of it!! I am just a college student who wants to find a quiet place to live. Unfortunately, I entered a company with full of swindlers!!! To live this "very very good" apartment, you need to have a perfect leasing history, and abundant money in order to pay for everything at any moment! And as the other tenants said, this apartment does not fit its price, it is poor value for money! After reading my story, do you guys still wanna move there??
