Maybe Jonathan is better when doing landscaping, but don't bother with his Christmas lighting service. He was super-responsive and quick to respond to every text message regarding getting my lights installed, up to the point where I paid his deposit. He even texted me the day after he sent the invoice to make sure I got it, reminding me to pay the invoice, which I did. He promised installation on Nov 17th, 2016. Nov 17 came and went, no installation. I contacted him and he said they were a little behind, will probably start that evening and finish on the 18th. By the end of the day on the 18th when nobody showed up, I texted him again and this time he promised they would be installed by Tuesday Nov 22nd, the exact words he used were "I can guarantee them by Tuesday". Tuesday came and went, no installation. The installer finally came on Saturday Nov 26th, but didn't have enough lights or the promised timer, but came back on Sunday morning to finish up. Jonathan proceeded to text me that same evening, asking me to pay the balance. Yup, he is REAL responsive when he wants to get paid. I looked over my invoice and couldn't see if the price (which was more expensive than what my neighbor paid) included removal of the lights after Christmas. By this point his lighting website was now offline (which I asked him about a couple times, and he ignored me) so I emailed him my question about taking them down - no response. 2 days later he texts me again asking for me to pay the balance, and so I ask again if the total includes taking them down. He says it generally does not, normally another $175.00, but since he didn't specify it on my original invoice he will include taking them down. I thank him and promptly pay the balance. I ask him when the lights will be taken down and he informs me it will be early January. The month of January came and went, no contact from Jonathan. Fast forward to February 4th 2017 and my wife asks me if the Christmas lights are ever going to come down, so I text Jonathan and ask when he can take the lights down and he tells me Tuesday Feb 7th. Tuesday comes and goes, nobody shows up. I text him again the following Monday Feb 13th to ask if anyone will be coming this week and I get no reply. I call and leave a voicemail a couple days later, no reply. It's now been another 10 days since he said they would be taken down and he is completely incommunicado. At this point I guess I'm going to have to hire someone else to remove my lights, or risk injury getting up on a tall ladder to get my lights down myself (which is why I wanted to pay a "professional" in the first place). Look elsewhere for someone that can keep their promises and cares about customer service. read more

I live in FRISCO, TX and I wish I could give Zero Stars. Jonathan Farmer from GreenCare was hired to install 6 Taylor Junipers. He said he takes 50% deposit and I was very uncomfortable in giving a cash deposit due to past experiences in people running off. Anyway, I told him I would only pay credit card deposit and the rest in cash upon install. He was supposed to install 4 foot tall Taylor junipers and also 6 Rose of Shor Pillars. The day for install comes and he brings 2 guys who the whole time complaining about how cheap he was and didn't pay them much. They couldn't understand proper spacing and planted the trees anywhere they wanted some were 8 feet apart some 6 feet apart (I didn't notice until the next day). After he finishes up he tells me about how the credit card processor is holding the money and it's causing him problems. I feel bad so I say cancel the charge and I'll give cash. The next day I take a better look at the trees and they are not Taylor Junippers they are Blue Point Junnipers which are much cheaper and sold at Home Depot for $40 (he charged me $180 per Taylor Juniper). Not only that but there are 2 types of Bushes. He brought the wrong kind of Rose of Sharon and I immediately declined those. He had all my money and kept promising to fix it. Wouldn't answer my calls and kept making excuses. My worker broke his ankle, Had to help a neighbor, can't get the right bushes. Even after I told him where they were in stock He kept lying. He stole $1000 and is completely a deceptive person with no morals at all. I'll be filing a court claim and see him in court if he shows up -- if not I'll get a judgment against him and get the sheriffs to go and execute a writ. I am so sad there are thieves like this thief preying on homeowners. Everyone knows Karma is a B#### and I hope Jonathan Farmer gets what's coming to him. Either way, I do not plan on letting this go and will file charges with the court. The main nursery in the area has already blacklisted his company and they are telling me they will pass on our complaint to other Nurseries. I had to purchase the Correct Bushes for $1400 on top of what Greencare stole from me. Please DO NOT USE GreenCare Lawn and Landscape !!! Please DO NOT TRUST Johnathan FARMER !!! read more
