The place is clean and organized. You pay up front before you receive your service. The room that I was In was shared with two other people. The massage was fantastic. When I walked out of the place there was a buzz with the pout door restaurants in the neighborhood. It's sad to see all the bad reviews for such a wonderful place. This spa is one of Whittier's best kept secrets. I've been coming here for years and always have the best experience. I've paid big bucks for top of the line massages at fancy Beverly Hills places that don't come close to the massages I've received here. I've since moved and will every once in a while make the trek back over because I miss the people, the service, and the relaxation I feel after leaving. I highly recommend this spa and just communicate with your masseuse so they apply the pressure that makes sense for you! read more

Front desk said May was not available until 1:40pm (conveniently the same as a 40 min massage option, so I assume they took a walk in right before I arrived). No apology. So I asked if Wiki was available. Never got confirmation yes or no. Front desk asked if I wanted to leave or wait. Asked about Wiki again...and I got the same non-response. This place is cheap and totally worth every minute of your time. They are very flexible with appointments and you leave feeling so relaxed. If your looking for a deep tissue kind of massage this isn't the place for you this is a general overall body massage nothing to fancy. Leaves you feeling relaxed and ready for a nice lazy day. I would recommend bringing your own sandals. Because at some point in the massage they have you walk to another room with your oiled feet in sandals that have been used by other customers. It grossed me out a bit. I don't know how clean they were but it still get gross to borrow someone else's sandals with me feet covered in oil. But overall I love coming here. Mandatory $10 tip on 30 min massage. Half-hearted effort with weak pressure. Half-hour price and mandatory tip was expensive in relation to 60 or 90 min options. The very least they could do was make the half hour worth it. Zero relief from stress and tight muscles. Not a whole body massage by any means. Not enough time spent on arms or legs. Did not touch head or feet and did not hit any pressure points or apply any pressure to tightest points of lower back. Cannot and will not recommend. read more

Came here because I heard good things about this place. The facility was clean but my massage experience wasn't great. After we paid the tip, the lady told the guy in the front to tell us that we didn't tip enough. He kept YELLING at us that we have to pay at least $10. He kept pushing and raising his voice which put us in a really bad mood. It's really disappointing to see places with services like this. Why are you ASKING for MORE tip? Oh man I've been coming here for past year and last Friday I came for a full body massage I felt like I was beat up. They gave me a man he was so hard on me n didn't speak any English he was pinching my fat on my back n I swear used the hardest pressure the entire time I wanted to scream 90% of the time I had to suck it up and when it was over I could barley get off the bed and walk. You can request a make or female if you have a preference - I've had both and never felt any sort of discomfort. They always make me feel comfortable. My massage "therapist" had a running nose, he sneezed on me I felt his mucus on my arm and he was yawning the whole time. Why would you let someone with a cold or whatever he had work on a client? Massage itself was ok but I was not relaxed because of the reasons mentioned above. read more

My favorite place to visit while traveling in town to visit family. Great prices, clean rooms & have taken adequate COVID measures. You can't beat the 1.5 he full body massage price which includes hot stones and foot wax thing . My new favorite guy is Jason! He's great. Any massage that an out me to sleep passes my test. First time I came here, I gave it 5 stars. I discovered this place on yelp and my entire experience was wonderful. I went for a week later, assuming, it would be similar, since I purchased the same $30 massage - (I later found out that who I had the previous week was no longer there). From beginning to end, it was not relaxing at all.She seemed so rushed. After massaging my right arm, she did some stretches. On the left arm, no stretches at all. Worst part was... I was expecting paraffin wax on my feet like the first time. Well, she had the plastic bag of paraffin wax, but, instead of putting it on my feet initially, she used it to rub and hit my feet and lower legs (using the bag to massage? hitting it on my legs/feet to cool off the wax? I don't know!) It was SO hot, that I took the washcloth off my eyes and told her, "It's too hot, it's hurting me." She smiled and continued. I thought to myself, well, maybe it's a good thing, but it certainly doesn't feel good right now!! By the time she put it on my feet for a brief 2 minutes, it was still so hot, I thought for sure I was getting burned. Off to the "full body massage" room and it didn't get any better. The hot stones were also too hot, and she rushed through everything. So NOT relaxing. I was so bummed. When I paid at the end, I told the girl at the desk that the masseuse was not very good at all. She said to get another masseuse next time. She wrote his name on the business card. Well... what really made me give this place 1 star, is that I highly recommended it to a co worker earlier in the day. She happened to go the same evening. She happened to HAVE the male masseuse that the receptionist recommended!. My friend said that he seemed inappropriate in his "touching" at times. He referred to her as "honey." She had the same "hitting the feet and legs with the bag of super hot paraffin wax.". Worst part... afterwards her neck was so sore from the deep massage, that she could barely move her neck for several days. Note that both my friend and I go to a lot of these inexpensive foot reflexology places. We both ask for a firm massage. So... it isn't that we were wimpy. So disappointed! This place is close to work. I would have absolutely gone weekly if it was like the first time. Well, I hope no one else has the experience we had! I love massages I've been getting them for a while now so I know a good massage to a bad massage and an okay massage. It was my first time getting a massage here and May was my masseuse. I did Plan D for a one hour full body massage and I felt like I was in heaven. It was $40 but since she was super good, I tipped her $25 because she totally deserved it. Get May, I haven't tried anyone else but she gave me the best massage I've ever had and I've tried at least 4 other people before her, so far she is the best one.
