Every visit, phone call, text, etc was always particular and intimate to our own story while being backed by informed, professional advice and conversation. From billing support to postpartum visits in their new gorgeous office, Nettle made this process easy in a medical landscape that can often be so opaque and overwhelming. As a sporadic doula, I'm lucky enough to have been present at several births and they offer a level of care that I didn't know existed. We were fortunate to have an incredible home birth in our barely one bedroom apartment and throughout felt supported but empowered, nurtured but independent. From the first meeting we knew it was the only way, and they were there for us every step. Both pre and post natal care (not to mention labor and birth support) were approached with attentiveness, warmth, and joyful tenderness. I've carried their philosophy with me into parenthood and find myself asking WW(Jo/Jenna)D for decisions beyond the health of our baby girl and myself. My husband and I feel lucky we found Dr. Brennan through Googling, and after our very first meeting realized that the mode of care he and Jais provide--expert, personalized, unrushed, warm, attentive, responsive--is truly one-of-a-kind in this day and age. Throughout my pregnancy, I continued to marvel that if I ever had a question or needed help, I could reliably reach Dr. Brennan or Jais (also highly expert) quickly via phone. I never felt like I was bothering them with questions or concerns. There was never any portal message tag that you get at other offices--it was always a prompt call back. This responsiveness provided me and my husband with great peace of mind, and it frankly ended up feeling like a bragging point amongst our friends, none of whom have had similarly personalized experiences with their providers. It felt like a gift to know that Dr. Brennan, with whom we'd been building a relationship for many months, was the doctor who would reliably deliver our baby (not the case at big practices). Our baby was breech and needed to be delivered via planned C-Section, which I felt emotionally prepared for, thanks to Dr. Brennan and Jais. Dr. Brennan's office coordinated everything well with Lenox Hill Hospital, which, by the way, was fantastic as well. The morning of delivery, when nerves are naturally high, Dr. Brennan's characteristic calm, kind, and witty demeanor was such a balm. I was able to get my blood testing done in the exam room and the imaging was done immediately afterwards next door. The facility is private and clean. I was tired of going to a facility where it's very crowded in the waiting area. Also, I wasn't a fan of my name getting called loudly in the waiting area and having to wait a long time to be seen. At FemGyn, the experience is the total opposite. I was seen shortly after completing some paperwork. The front desk representative was sweet and professional. I made the decision that taking the time to travel to Brooklyn to see Dr. Weinstock was far more beneficial to my well-being, than seeing a doctor who may be minutes from my home or office, but who barely made eye contact. In addition to being extremely intelligent and professional, Dr. Weinstock is warm, kind, and always accessible. Having Dr. Weinstock as my gynecologist is worth rubies, which is about how much my deductible is for an out-of-network doctor. Being under the care of someone knowledgeable and caring is worth every penny. While I understand the frustration, the two stars given by the other reviewer would be better directed toward HMOs, and not Dr. Weinstock.

I asked the doctor to call me to discuss his manager's attitude toward me, before he sent the letter. I still have not heard from him. Do not waste your time with this guy.
