We had a wonderful experience with Rico and his assistant, Rich, of Green's Junk Removal. Rico was very easy to contact and responsive by phone and text. He requested a few photos, which I texted, and he immediately gave me a very fair quote. He told me that he could work my job into his schedule with 24-48 hours notice, which he did. The job consisted of not only hauling all the appliances in our basement kitchen in Capitol Hill but also unscrewing, uninstalling, and hauling all the cabinets and countertops in the kitchen. Rico and his assistant, Rich, were efficient, friendly, and pleasant to work with. I had a really difficult job for Rico and crew. I had a large floating dock that was in the water and starting to come apart due to age and was in danger of floating away in a storm. We initially discussed the job via email and on the phone. Rico then came by, we discussed various way to remove the dock and agreed on a price. He could do the job right away and went off to get some help. He came back 45 minutes later with his helper and the two guys worked their butts off in 92 degree heat taking the dock apart and hauling the debris out to their truck. This wasn't the usual garage or yard cleanup and Rico's can do attitude and hard work under difficult conditions made it happen. Words cannot explain how THANKFULl I am to Rico and his team. My husband Is deployed and I have a horribly bad back and cannot do much. I am on a tight budget and they were able to work with me. I had 18 bags of rubber mulch and some old chairs that needed to be removed and they did it with ease. Their customer service is bar none. Not only did Rico answer the phone at 8:30 at night ( I was desperate, when I was calling businesses all day,) but they called me before they arrived and were here on time. I needed an old upright piano removed from my house. Green's was the only place I contacted that asked for pictures so that they could make an informed quote. They gave me a price significantly lower than 2 other companies and half the price of another. They arrived within an hour or so of agreeing on the price and did a fantastic job. Incredibly quick service at fair prices. Had an old basketball hoop that needed to be taken down. Greens were out in a couple hours, pictures that it was cut down, and the hoop hauled away.
