We needed to head here to the Emergency Centre last night and I am certainly impressed by the kindness we were shown by the administration staff. There was a lovely coffee and tea machine in the waiting area with biccies, can't complain if there are biccies right? The nurses, doctor and staff looked after us really well, explained everything easily and the facilities were state of the art. Not saying this will ever happen to you, but if it does and you are covered by Private, I would go here everytime. read more

I recently had to have a day surgery procedure at the Greenslopes hospital all the staff- doctors, nurses, admin staff and wardies were all amazing- super friendly and answered all of my questions with non being a stupid question. The facility is clean,state of the art and just what you expect from a private hospital. I would definitely return here for any other procedures that I need done. read more

Finding a park is not so hard if you don't mind paying but those free parks are as rare as hens teeth. The inside of the hospital is a maze, don't be afraid to get one of the volenteers to take you where you are going because once you get lost you may have to wait until they send out a search party to find you. read more

My grandson was admitted this afternoon at Green Slopes Hospital for surgery at about 13h00. 2 of his fingers nearly cut off, he had to go for surgery and they only paid attention at 6;30pm. No dr even looked at his hand from time of admission till 6;30pm. He was transferred from another hospital earlier today to Green Slopes. Very bad for a private hospital read more

I was advised to attend the emergency department last night as I was unwell and my haematologist was unavailable. Dr John Stedman and his team of nurses and X-ray staff were amazing. The whole procedure starting with the front desk, to the hospital orderlies was extremely caring and professional. Several tests were ordered and carried out in a very timely manner. After a few hours I was on my way home with the answers I needed and a treatment plan in place. In a world where doctors and hospitals are not always viewed in a positive light, this was a very positive experience. On a wet Sunday night this treatment was A+. Well done Greenslopes team! I recently visited an unwell family member who was having surgery at the Greenslopes Private. They received the best care and the doctors and nurses were exceptional. Coming from out of town, I found the best short term accommodation on Google - check out Hedges on Ridge, better than any motel and a short walk to the hospital and you don't need to find a park at the hospital. read more

Have been a patient for two days and still a patient now. Arrived early hours of Thursday morning had to sign documentation about lost belongings while still on ambulance bed that amused me really, I guess you have to do what you have to do. Was taken to cardio ward where everyone was awesome, doctors, nurses, ward staff they were just so caring and attentive. Then with a procedure booked at 6pm last night, 5pm an administrator arrived with two wardmens said your being moved we need the bed. At 5pm dinner arrived and my pain medication didn't. The next two hours saw me moved to the other ward, not even time to go to the bathroom and two more people came to move me again for the procedure, they left me in a waiting room, three more people came started the procedure and I had a panic attack ( because the last hour had been so clear and calm, whilst crying and shaking I was left outside the door of the procedure room for some to come get me. About 2 hours after this ordeal started I returned to my new ward, having been flicked from person to person in total 16 people in that small time, in pain and visibly distressed. I am calling it my series of unfortunate events. Pain relief yah, shower yah things are now settling. Overall good care but when your doctors or nurses are taken out of the decision making your left feeling very vulnerable. read more
