The gallery can be accessed either from the interior of the building or from Tin Pan Alley. - Rotating contemporary art on display in a moderately-sized gallery space. Depending on the particular exhibit, you'll find photography, drawing, painting, mixed-media and sculpture by individual artists and group shows. - Features both upcoming and established artists such as Bend residents Nancy Floyd (2022 Guggenheim Fellow), Paula Bullwinkle, Bill Hoppe and Christian Brown, as well as regional artists such as April Bey and Sadie Barnette. - As with many contemporary art galleries, some of the work revolves around current societal issues. The recent COBIPOC exhibit, "Be Nice (White) ... You're in Bend," examined the notion that Central Oregon lacked racial diversity and sought to increase the visibility of the BIPOC community. Another recent show, "Crow's Shadow Institute of the Arts," featured work from the Umatilla tribes in Eastern Oregon. - Scalehouse was founded in part by local art legend Patricia Clark who did much to promote art and artists in Central Oregon. The entire upper floor is covered in bat pee and bat guano. These photos are taken from inside a couple units showing the pee droplets. If you see piles of "dirty debris" above the units, this a mixture of dirt, dust, but mostly bat guano. The roof leaks water all over the building during the Fall, Winter, and Spring, and your stored contents are at risk of water damage. When it happens the tenant is not always notified. Only when the tenant realizes what has occurred, then this business will offer the tenant to move units and offer a discount. The roof leaking problems have been happening since at least 2009.

They practice "spacious Christianity:" they are Biblical, but you are free to ask questions without being judged for having them and ALL are welcome. They live out the love of Jesus Christ to everyone to amazing ministries and community outreach. They have an emphasis on underserved populations or the marginalized, but there are ministries for all different types of things. They have or have had an art ministry, an end of life ministry, they open the church doors to homeless when the overflow shelters are full, there's a group that cooks at Bethlehem Inn, and too many other things to list. (Some are constant and some change throughoit the year). I hope you get a chance to visit in person, watch their TV service or listen to a sermon online.
