Lots of discounted produce due to being on verge of going bad. Meat is decent, deli has good food, but beware of late afternoon markdowns that have sat out for extended periods of time. Prices are as expected for a lone wolf in middle of a small town. Pick 5 is very popular here, typically lower quality items that are 5 for $19.99. I shop here when I must as it is higher and you really do have to be vigilant about expired product. They offer Apple Pay however I have yet to have it work correctly. All in all it's a fair country grocery store for those weekend must haves when you live out in the country. read more

The prices at Greers are AT LEAST twice the prices at Walmart, if not higher. I only go their to grab milk and bread on occasion.

Real bad about putting and keeping expired grocery items out on the shelves. Check EVERYTHING! Other than that, the prices are just a tad high, which is typical with there being a limited amount of grocers in the area for competition. read more

However, during my most recent visit, I noticed an unexpected charge on my bill--a standard sales tax plus an additional 10% fee based on my total purchase. When I inquired about this with the cashier, they informed me that the fee was supposedly posted outside the store. After checking, I found no such notice. This lack of transparency left me feeling disappointed and frustrated as a loyal customer who visits the coast 6-10 times a year. Moving forward, I will be choosing other options that prioritize clear communication and respect for their customers. read more
