After 15 minutes they had my truck in and 15 minutes later I was good to go! He check all my tires and only charged me 30 bucks. I tipped home 10 because I knew how busy they were. The driver of the towing company informed me once the tow was over the price had went up $100. This was never mentioned before or during the tow. I was already frustrated on my bus breaking down & was not in the mood to argue. Although I should had only paid the quote that I was given. I signed a receipt agreeing to $650+tax. Totaling to $685. I checked my bank, they charged me an additional $27.13. I called the company within the same hour. They said it was for a credit card charge. No where on the receipt does it say that, not did the man who towed my bus mention that. After telling them this they agreed to refund my card. A few days later I received a phone call from a man at this business stating a lady tried to refund my card of the over charged but she didn't know what she was doing. He told me he would take care of this. I emailed this company yesterday, got no response. I would never deal with this company again nor trust them with my credit card.

Unfamiliar with the area, we called the first towing service we could fine online -- Brauner's Garage. Here's what I'll say about the owner -- he was generally unlikable but reliable enough. To be fair, we pulled him from his Christmas festivities, which he didn't hold back from letting us know. He was curt on the phone and equally unfriendly and uncommunicable in person; I developed a growing sense that I could not trust him. Nothing ever came of those feelings, however, and he did deliver our vehicle to a local dealership and my wife and me to the local Kwik Trip to wait for a ride. Total charge was $250 flat rate plus tax. Objectively, I have no good reason to recommend NOT using Brauner's, though personally he wouldn't be my first choice for assistance in the future.

This review is for the Service Department. In short, these guys are AWESOME!…read more Traveling cross country in our RV, our alternator puked. We were able to limp to Black River Falls on battery power, and lo-and-behold right at the exit I found Gross Chevy, et. al. Less than 2 hours before closing, they squeezed me in to verify the problem and got the part on order for delivery first thing the following morning. It was 90 degrees out, and they allowed us to bring our 5 dogs...yes, 5...into the Service Department office to take advantage of the A/C during the diagnosis. And on top of that, they allowed us to plug in on their lot so we could run the our A/C and "camp" overnight. They even offered a courtesy car so we could go out for dinner! All repaired and we were back on the road before noon the next morning. Five stars for their service, hospitality, and accommodations. If I could, I'd give them an extra star because they had Green Bay Packer items scattered around the office!
