I did, and after a brief talk, he agreed to stand by what the salesperson had originally told us, and move the softener for free. The two gentlemen that came out to disconnect and reconnect the system, Doug and his assistant, were very polite and knowledgeable. I sincerely appreciate that Randy stood by the salesperson's word (who I will add is also no longer with the company), because I know that businesses can't just go by what customers claim. I think my husband and I have learned a lesson out of this to ALWAYS get promises in writing. Thank you Randy, and the team at Rainsoft for fixing this. As a longtime customer (5 years now I think?) to one of their "top of the line" softeners, they tried to upsell us a newer version when we had a little valve go out on ours. Luckily we got the valve replaced and saved thousands of dollars by resisting an unnecessary sell. Now that it's time to move, I called the Huntsville distributor the other day requesting a move and they said it'll be $699 for "disconnection"...I told the lady that the man that sold us our softener years ago told us that the product comes with a FREE move that does NOT expire. The rep apparently pulled up our contract on the phone and said that that's not even mentioned in our contract, and even if it were, they only honor one year out moves. I messaged this very page a few days ago one more question (if we disconnected the softener ourselves, would the move and reconnection be less since the rep specifically said the fee is for disconnection. It has been a few days and still no answer. To sum it up, this company LIES, they are *extremely* pushy sales people and also try to sell unnecessarily to the customer, and their CS on social media is non-existent in my experience. Longtime customers doesn't seem to make a difference to these crooks.

They also wouldn't leave any brochure or offfical pricing, at the end just left us with a hand written price on blank piece of paper. They will try to tell you spending 6k will even out with "free soap" they give you. Culligan was exact opposite. No pressure, very honest on what system you do and don't need and our price was the same price as others in our neighborhood and thousands less. When I asked about higher level machines, he said it wasn't worth it for what we have and zoned in on 2 products he would recommend. We noticed immediately the difference. During install they were very clean on the work also.

Our salesperson was Sara and she came out, tested our water and shared resources where we could get more facts about our water. We got a quote for a plain under sink unit and a whole house system, and she thoroughly explained all the different options you could get. My extended family buys alkaline water, so we decided to be bougie and get that on the counter spigot, however at Sara's suggestion we did plain RO to the fridge and ice maker. David was the technician that came out. He was extremely personable and you can tell he believes in their product. He did a great job drilling into our countertop and provided some guidance in machine placement for easy filter changes. They sell an American made product, and it has great reviews. After living with our unit for a few weeks, I can honestly say that I love it.

They said the pipe was old and rested so they cut a hole in my kitchen floor about the size of a shoebox they replaced the pipes they did not put a snake in the drain the water was running and it wasn't backing up when they left I turned the water on and let it run to see if it was going to back up and it did they charged me over 700 dollars to replace a PVC pipe a plastic pipe and they never ran a snake in a drain they said we had to make an appointment for them to come back out they came back out the next day and charge us almost $300 to run a snake in a drain something that they were supposed to do when they were first there. There was no No warranty nothing they left a gaping big hole under the kitchen sink and they charged us for 2 days over $1,000. It was two guys that barely said two words to me and my husband they were rude they didn't close up the hole under my sink I will never ever suggest keep the plumber to nobody there's no way in the world that I should have paid almost $1,000 to change a PVC pipe and to snake the drain no warranty whatsoever on their work do not use Keith the plumber.

We got the full house system and a reverse osmosis for drinking water coffee and ice maker, etc…read more The reverse osmosis is really slow and sometimes just quits. They blamed on ice maker and said if I bought another tank it would Slone the issue. I bought the additional tank and issue remains. Then they showed up late to appointment so we had to move. They are supposed to come today. Happy with the system, overall, but service and appts scheduling needs work, and a little frustrated they found a way to charge me more (asking me to buy another tank) instead of fixing the problem.
