We wanted to keep an eye on them and found Southern Heating and Cooling via online search. They came out, did an inspection on everything, and fixed a couple of minor problems as part of the inspection. They did such a thorough job we asked about service programs and became a service customer. We needed a couple of repairs along the way, and the service was always prompt and professional, and they didn't use the opportunity to make a sales pitch. When it was time to replace our system they were a pleasure to work with, and they worked around our holiday schedule saving our holiday plans. The system they recommended is more efficient, quieter, and saves us a bunch of money on our energy bill. Recently I was under the house and realized our crawlspace humidity was much higher than seemed normal. We needed to get it dried out and remedy the issues so we weren't dealing with mold and damaged wood. Because we have such trust in them we called Southern Heating & Cooling for a reference to get the crawlspace work done and found that it's something they do! They got us on their schedule and in just days had a crew out to do the work. When they finished on Thursday the relative humidity in the crawlspace was 95% On the following Monday it was 50%. The price was right, and the equipment they recommended and installed is top-of-the-line. We can't say enough good things about this company and their people. Everyone we have come in contact with has treated us so well, and their service has constantly exceeded our expectations.

We took off work and waited. Text messages came assuring us they were on their way several times, only to get a voicemail later that they should have scheduled it early in the morning since there were 3 air conditioners and wouldn't make it. I called back, rescheduled for today April 14th. I received a text message this morning letting me know I was on the schedule and that they would be in contact with us when the tech was on his way. By 11:00am I had heard nothing. I contacted them (all done through AI mind you) and they said they heard my concern and someone would be coming out still today. At 3:00pm I contacted them again and they said now, the gentleman that was scheduled to come out here was stuck and couldn't come out until tomorrow...So do you think they were actually going to come out tomorrow? The answer is no. I live in a rural town which they CLAIM to service but its only if you are convenient. Poor planning, poor scheduling, they will drop you for their higher paying jobs. They don't care to lose your service because they can't keep up with it anyways. Take my advice and call someone else. Insincere. Diengenous. Should probably higher some real people. Now certainly wouldn't trust them to do a good job and not rush to something else.
