After two and a half years of postponements due to COVID, we were finally able to celebrate our Family Reunion here. Our guests raved about the setting, with the abundance of natural light, easy access to the outside and the immaculate surrounding grounds, and many amenities. Plenty of ideal settings for photographs, both inside the venue as well as outside. Best of all was the management and coordination provided by Adam Alexandrunas. He coordinated with us tirelessly for three years to ensure the perfect execution of our event. Since we communicated long-distance from California, Adam made a special effort to explain and describe arrangements. He also recommended an outstanding caterer and bartender, plus made several helpful suggestions throughout the process. The day of the reunion, he masterfully appeared at the appropriate moments to attend to every detail. Adam's excellent public address announcements helped guide our guests through the activities and food service. His actions allowed us to visit with our extended family, free from any concerns. If you are looking for an all-inclusive worry-free experience, your search is over. For a truly special event, consider ending with fireworks, as Greystone Fields is uniquely situated for such a display. We hope everyone can enjoy Greystone Fields as much as we did!

Hey, they have a website! There are a bunch of halls out this way, but I don't think I ever came to…read morethis one before until last night. See, I have a lot of family, cousins in particular, out in this general area, and they get married in waves. Luckily there are no Bridezillas in our clan, since they are all perfectly cool with having a small weddings followed by informal receptions a few months later. Have ya ever worn jeans to a wedding reception? It wasn't a new thing to me, I'll tell ya, but it was to my girlfriend who was skeptical about it, and she was meeting my extended family for the first time! It took her an hour just to figure out what to wear only for everyone to tell her how cute she was and how well she carried off her pink blouse/denim pencil skirt/black leggings ensemble. Having a significant other shine at a family gathering is one of life's priceless gems. Luckily it went well, my family being astounded that I brought a date. That's unprecedented. There were little kids everywhere! On the roof! Under the tables! Climbing up the walls! I keep forgetting that all my cousins have kids and that they have kids of their own and that their kids even have kids in some cases! A fruitful bunch they are. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's a hall. It was spacious, the staff was helpful, but when it's packed with people who share your bloodline, care about you even though you don't see them as often as you should, give you hearty, firm handshakes and hugs whenever you turn around, and dance, dance, dance at the sound of every beat without caring how goofy they're being sans any drama, you just can't give it anything less than 5 stars, can you?

This is a really cool park near Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and Target around Upper St. Clair that I…read morelike to stop at whenever I'm in the area. The trail is great for beginners or if you just want a quick jog. There are several benches you can sit down on along the way, plus a tree stump in the woodsy part that you can also sit on to rest. It's a very well maintained trail that smells like freshly cut wood chips, and has a nice variety of terrain. I didn't see any dog poop (it's a no-dog park) and no litter at all, which the multiple trash cans around the loop definitely help with. While a good portion of the trail has the wood chips, some areas could use a bit more. After rain, a few spots can get muddy and it can get a little marshy in the grassy part where there is no trail. The outer loop is about 1.2 miles, and there are several spots where the trail branches off. There's a more "woody" section and a more "grassland" section, which keeps it interesting. It's also not hard to find parking at the church across the street. There's a lot of birds chirping and tons of squirrels and bunnies, and every once in a while you'll spot deer. Inside the barn fence there are lambs and sometimes horses, which is a nice touch. Also kind of cool is that there are wild chive plants around this trail which is common in the Pittsburgh area, and you'll find some growing in the park if you know what to look for.

The old house, and farm are really special, and I am so glad that the Upper St. Clair Historical Society maintains these buildings and property so we can occasionally get to visit and see how things used to be. Today they had all kinds of activities going on, from hayrides, petting zoo, sheep shearing, cow milking, yarn spinning, beekeeping, and of course tours of the historic house, barn and outbuildings, all of which are like a museum. This place was well worth the price of admission . . . FREE, but the suggested donation was $5 per person.

No freaking way will it get done in time especially when your contractors are not doing anything but smoking outside and taking up parking spaces. I was duped at check in! Please go elsewhere. There is no notice of renovations going on the hotel website. Plus this hotel operated without water. In other words fire hazard!!!. My first night was ok, place was noisy with all the work going on, contractors loud music playing all hours, hence no sleep. I endured 3 nights w/o water, one in which was off all night. The management gave guests a gallon of water and no apology. Yet told me that if I checked out early would be charged for the full week stay. Geesh. I'm in town for work and this is all you can do when all hotels are sold out due to the Little League World Series was going on the 13th thru the 24th. Corporate needs to retrain all staff and front desk management with a remedial course of what customer service is all about especially in pleasing your paying guests. All staff had a negative and condescending attitude to guests. No apology, no water. Horrible experience. I will not be staying here in the near future.
