I could have done what they done if they'd have just told me that that's all they get. There are bogus charges such as spending a half hour to look over her witness list. There were no witnesses. Mr. Allen never contacted my ex wife's legal representative to negotiate anything on my behalf (confirmed) I worked out all the details, then at the arraignment he started "negotiating" so he could charge more(confirmed). The process took 25 minutes his "negotiation" took 3 hours. That tactic resulted additional money for her legal fees. There are reviews that say he's biased to the women. Based on his "negotiating" I would say is very true. The women seem to think he's great in their reviews, but they're creepy and unprofessional innuendos. He also tried to convince me it was better for the state to garnish my wages. I'm guessing he makes a percentage(unconfirmed). He stretched and wrung out every possible cent he could from me. I never felt as though he had my best interest. Janie his paralegal is extremely blunt with a sharp attitude. She makes you feel like you're some sort of troublesome chore. I wanted to fire him but then I would have to pay some other retainer fee. It was 14000 altogether. My wife spent 2500. She won. You tell me. Shop around this guy is not in it for you. When I did that they only responded to my husband that they do not represent ME therefor I shouldn't be emailing. This showed me they did not have our family in mind it was just a quick bit of money for them. In the billing it shows things that were filed and prepared that my husband never not once saw or proofread. They burned through $7500 and didn't even get to the modification which is what we payed her for. Then suddenly out of nowhere we get a request for $5000 more! To move forward when nothing had been done in the first place for the $7500. We had to hire a new attorney to move forward bc this one wasn't going to do anything except take from us and allow the opposing party file obsurd filings that she could have proven were false if she would have just read the evidence I supplied her with. Now my stepson is at his absolute lowest he's cried everyday since being returned to his abusive home and more fictitious things have been filed. I repeatedly left phone messages, emails, and texts over several months with urgent questions about my case status and never received a timely response. While my health deteriorated and my appeal moved through critical deadlines, I received no guidance or updates.
