I already knew that but I have a corner lot and 2 very large dogs. I wanted something tall and private and was willing to pay the price. He seemed unhappy that I won't go for the chain link but said he'd call me within 2 weeks with an estimate. Things were busy in my life and after not hearing from him in a month I called him back. He told me he also was busy and would call me back very soon. I never received a return call. I guess a privacy fence was too much work for him. While at my house he was rude and seemed to think he knew what I wanted better than I did. I called him the second time to give him another chance and to hear his estimate (if not for any other reason but for a comparison to other estimates). The second call was just as rude. Very poor salesmanship skills.

There was no saving it, but the good thing was that the plate that were fastened to the gate and the fence post were not damaged, but the hinge was torn apart. Not a huge problem, but certainly a problem as the type of hinge that holds the gate to the fence post is not available in Home Depot or Lowes and I do not know enough about fences to even know how to begin to search for this specific hinge. I needed help! I am a regular listener to the Chris Hand Show on WTN and I heard Chris do an advertisement for Kingdom Fence Company. I was sitting in front of a computer when I heard the advertisement, so I went to Kingdom's website, uploaded the pictures of the broken hinge and submitted a request, hoping that Kingdom would know how to help me! Dave responded to my request the next day, informed me that he could order the hinge and have it installed as soon as it arrived and I was also eligible for a WTN discount as I had mentioned the advertisement I heard on Chris Hand's show. Awesome! I was able to pay online using PayPal. Dave informed me when he had ordered the part and then informed me again on when we would able to install the new hinge and he did just that! From first request to final installation, Kingdom Fence made the ordeal as easy as it could be. Dave had the hinge installed in ten minutes and also provided a free inspection of the fence and the other gate. Now I wanted a 24 foot fence on one side of a patio. I called Jackson Fence and Danny Moore come out. He quoted me $2,550.00. I said that is more than I can pay for a job this small. He said the problem was that it is a small job but let him go back to the office and see what he could do. I waited two days without hearing from him. I called him and he said that was the lowest he could go. I asked doesn't your company have any discount for repeat customers. He did no. Then I asked What bout a Military discount. He Sid we don't do military discounts. The way he Sid that irked me, I wanted to tell him his company wouldn't be free to do work if it wasn't for the people who fought and died for his freedom but I didn't. I posted an ad online looking for a skilled craftsman to do the fence and received three replies and hired one who did the job for LESS THAN a third of his quote. I know this was a small job. But, this guy completed the job in about seven hours and I know a Jackson Fence crew could have knocked it out in less time. I will never call Jackson Fence agin no matter how big of a job I have.

We had 800+ feet of chain-link fence, a 16' double gate, a 12' and an 8' single gate, installed this past April by another local company (which shall remain nameless for legal reasons). We had to have these "other guys" out a few more times to make "corrections" - which they just couldn't do, not without screwing up something else...with their "good-enough" or "that's the way WE do it" attitudes (and the crew couldn't speak or understand English). We were frustrated and fed up, and couldn't see anything EVER being "right" (even with a 1-year warranty on labor). After much research, and wading through the "real" reviews, we called B&B in mid-July; "Can y'all fix this s__t?" After a lengthy review of the obvious problems and proposed solutions, Jentry assured us they could eliminate the humps and sags, and floppy fabric, and too-short / out-of-plumb line-posts, and uneven margins, and loose tension-wire, and fix the gates, and.... "Let's do it." "Ed" and his crew were here, early. We did a quick review of the tasks to be done, and they got to work. All of the line-posts were removed, and replaced with new ones; and this time they were straight, plumb, and a string-line used to cut them to the EXACT height (as opposed to no evidence of a string-line being used by the "other guys"). The loop caps were PROPERLY placed, the old terminal posts were cut to PROPER height and caps set level, the fabric was stretched "TIGHT," and was attached with the industry-recommended number of ties so that there was "half-a-diamond" showing above the top-rail (NOT a whole diamond - give-or-take). The gate posts were re-configured for PROPER spacing of the gates and the provided latches, all of the dug-up rocks and dirt were removed (as opposed to being left where dug up, or strategically hidden about the property, as per the original installer). ALL of this was accomplished in LESS than three days, even when digging the holes BY HAND, and for at least half a day with only two men working, vs. three. When there was any question, we could quickly communicate, confer, and decide. (The previous installer initially took four days, using a tracked machine to dig the holes, and a machine to mix the concrete, and with three men who needed help to understand how to use a drill to drill holes in gate-posts.) B&B's crew, with "Ed" as the foreman, was OUTSTANDING! We're SO pleased with their work - it looks GREAT, and all of the gates close and latch properly now! The owner, Brett, was readily available, and was out to personally inspect the job. If you're needing fencing done RIGHT the first time, you won't regret hiring this outfit to do it.
