This one was worse so I will not go there again. I had to complete a blood draw and collect a urine sample. The male tech did a good job on the draw but barely spoke English and not at all friendly. NOT OK. Then the same man showed me to the bathroom and asked if I knew the procedure and I said that I think so. He gave me the cup, I locked the door and started the procedure that Dr Hemmerich coached me on how to do. She told me two wipes and instruction on wall said two. So there were no wipes in the room ! Got back dressed and went to get two wipes but the man was gone and nobody around . Finally I asked a lady for the wipes and she gave me just one. So I asked for two. No, we only give one. I reminded her that instructs on wall said two and Dr said two. NOT OK! So I went back into the room and re-started the procedure feeling that the test might be invalid. In the meantime I asked for the manager. But was told "not there". No explanation just brushed me off.

I am excited about this place. Not only did I enjoy my first appointment; but I am coming back!!…read moreMy physician really listened to me. Which was not hurried or anything. I loved that; sometimes it really feels like plug and chug with some physicians; and I understand, they are being spread thin. However; here, with my physician, I was given adequate time to explain myself, and my needs and then responded. This is really how medicine is suppose to be practiced, I swear. Bottom Line: I am going back! WOOO!!!!

I drove in from Lindstrom to New Brighton for an 8:00 appt to find that they had cancelled, and nobody called. Part of my visit was to get refills called in as I was out of medication. The NP called me and took care of that but said I needed to reschedule to get the exam done which happens next week. I just got a bill for almost 400.00 after insurance for this call. They will not credit it as they say a service was provided. So now I will go in next week and be billed at least that much again. How is that right? I didn't cancel and this should have all been able to happen at one appointment. What about my time and fuel for this inconvenience? Horrible customer service, and we thought healthcare in Florida was bad....

I've been going to Fairview clinics my whole life, but this was my first time at this location. I…read morehave a thyroid condition and on a regular basis will get my thyroid tested. I had been feeling off the past few days and was switching to a more expensive health insurance tomorrow, so I called and talked to a nurse. I told her briefly what I wanted and said I'd like to see a doctor or have my blood drawn to get my thyroid checked. I told her I would like to get seen today if possible. She got me an appointment at a clinic farther away than usual, but that was okay because I was able to get seen today. I woke up my two month old baby and got him and my toddler in the car and we drove 20 mins there. (By the way, my baby was screaming the whole time). I got checked in and asked if I had a lab only or doctor appointment. She said lab only and I asked if there were any available appointments today and she said no. She gave me the lab slip and I walked back. I waited for 10-15 minutes in the lab waiting room. Then a nurse came for me and in front of all of the people waiting asked me if a doctor told me to get my blood drawn. I said no, but since I have this thyroid issue my blood is checked on a regular basis. She told me I couldn't get my blood drawn without doctor's orders. I asked why they had me drive all they way out there, and she said, I don't know, I don't know what you said or what the nurse said. I'm not sure if her intention was to make me feel like it was my fault or to make me embarrassed in front of all the people in the small waiting room, but I felt both of those things. I started tearing up, so I took both of my upset children and left. I didn't feel cared for or listened to. This was a horrible experience and much worse because I'm not feeling well. I've delivered both of my babies at Fairview, but am now thinking I'll take my business elsewhere.
