We called them back and spoke to Alex who said it was actually a broker fee. We told him we did not appreciate being lied to and he stated there is nothing we can do as he is the manager. We put a complaint with progressive and leaving this review. Guess that's all we can do. We would not mind paying a broker fee but be honest about it. Insurance rates are through the roof and then getting taken advantage of is not the best feeling.

He spent over an hour with us going through all of pricing and different type of coverage for each of the categories like auto, home, pet, accidental, critical illness and life insurance. Compared all of the prices out there to what we're currently have. It turned out to be we have very good coverage and good prices. He didn't try to change our mind to go with his quote. Not trying to sell us anything. The best part he gives us his personal opinion about what he would change or add if he were to have our policies because we have double coverage on some of them. I can go on and on about how wonderful and honest Alec is but it will be too long. Please everyone, if you need to check for new policies set up an appointment with Alec either in person or over the phone. We prefer in person because we can see the monitor screens, we can see all the details right in front of our eyes. Please be aware of this company. They are totaling our customers car…read moreeven though they did not pay the supplement. A balance of over three thousand dollars is owed to our shop. If this is being in good hands with Allstate I know to go somewhere else for insurance. I may lose my job behind this matter and they don't even care. They are forcing an elderly woman out of a perfectly repaired vehicle that she owes money on. Apparently they don't care about the people. Just covering themselves. How will she get to the doctor now and run errands? We fixed the car because no one was returning calls. Come to find out there were underlying issues with vacations and a death. Yet we still are not being paid. Absolute unacceptable customer service. If you have elderly family members don't let them get Allstate. They don't do right by elders and push them around with non sense. They don't return calls or correspond for claims. If you have issues with the virtual assist beware. They will screw you.
