I had a severely deviated septum that has been restricting my breathing and ability to smell since 12 (now 28). Dr. Pippin perfectly performed the procedure with his awesome team. Today he removed the stints then the excess mucus. Leading to the first full fresh breath in 16 years. I was completely overwhelmed with joy and appreciation. 4 years post op. I have a lot of thoughts. Firstly, if you are considering having a rhinoplasty or cosmetic surgery of any kind of this doctor please WAIT and hear me out. It was 2021, my sister and I went in to see what could be done about our severely deviated septums. We also knew he could perform simple cosmetic surgeries. We met with him multiple times over the span of 6 months in which he assured us over and over that the procedure was simple, and 10 days of recovery was enough time for us before we literally start our freshman year at Loyola. In hindsight and after much research, that is simply untrue. We were not physically healed, nor mentally, considering Dr. Pippin took creative liberty with our noses. Personally, my cast fell off my face two days after surgery, revealing a nose that was, to be frank, misshapen as all hell, lopsided, thick scaring and botched stitching, but most devastatingly, he literally cut my whole nose off. I've seen Dr. Metzinger, Dr. Black, Dr. Melancon, Dr. Moulthorpe since my initial surgery. All agree any sort of revision would be intense and requite possibly multiple graphs from either my rib or ear. One doctor, whom I wont specify by name, was shocked Dr. Pippin performed cosmetic surgeries. Some of the doctors sent me away, telling me my case was too severe and required an out of state specialist. My sister's nose healed better than mine, but she also went with me to all consults and is under the same duress. Dr. Pippin told us many times during our consults that his changes would be MINOR, and that "only God could predict any real outcome," which in hindsight, is such a huge red flag from a plastic surgeon. It makes me sick to my stomach. My sister and I are not his only botched cases. I've actually spoken to others out there who have experienced a similar experience as well. I have since tried taking legal action against him but was thwarted by lingering Covid medical laws that prevented our case from moving anywhere. Please, PLEASE protect yourself and go to a more experienced surgeon. Dr. Pippin has since apologized to my sister and I for what he did, but nothing can change what has been done. And I am still devastated. read more

RUN. Do not even consider coming to this office/surgeon. The staff was completely misleading with pricing and the entire procedure. Once I arrived at the office I was told 4-6 different pricing. Nobody could answer any of my questions for over an hour about different types of filler, etc. they kept bringing the wrong syringe/filler type. They then informed us they didn't even have the type of filler advertised and discussed. I waited for over an hour and was numbed then refused treatment for no valid reason other than expressing my concerns over nobody being able to give me transparent information on cost or type of filler. The paperwork I was continuously given was for a completely different procedure. This was the most bizarre and unprofessional experience I've ever had. My cousin scheduled a sinus surgery and took off of work for one week. They called her the day before to cancel it for no reason after she already completed her pre-surgery procedures. Their excuse was that they were disorganized from office changes? Get it together- you're a medical facility. Everything was unacceptable and felt so odd. read more

I started seeing Dr. Pippin about 11 months ago. I suffered from chronic tonsillitis, chronic sinus infections, and recurrent strep throat. I'd been on allergy shots for 2 years prior. I just kept getting sick. I saw Dr. Pippin when I decided I needed to explore some new route. For 2 years, I never went longer than 6 weeks without being sick. Dr. Pippin is amazing. He has a great sense of humor which I love in a doctor. His bedside manner is incredible. He did a thorough exam and head CT. It turned out that I had a lot of issues: cyst in my left maxillary sinus cavity, my septum was broken at a 90 degree angle, and my tonsils were inflamed. He did a hell of a surgery on me in August 2017 (tonsillectomy, open nose reconstruction, and all of the sinuses). Recovery was hell. I'm always a complex recovery. Dr. Pippin handled me so well. His staff is awesome and always spent the time with me. It took me about 6 weeks to recovery, again, I'm complicated like that. Here I am now, 10 months post-op, and I haven't been sick once! I can breathe! I feel much better! I don't have strep every 2 months anymore. I seriously couldn't be more grateful for the Pippin. read more
