The office was nice and new. The staff was efficient. I did wait 30 minutes. The Dr spent 2 minutes in the exam room and 10 min in the office ( me asking all the questions). It was a hard sell about Orlando health services that I already had done. I would not recommend him. read more

Highly recommended to ALL the ladies in the area! After some not-so-comfortable experiences with local gynecologists, I have found the best-Dr. Gregory Zittel. He's located in the Lake Mary Physician Associates. First of all, he consults with you only when you are fully clothed, not half covered in a paper gown like my past gynecologists. There's a lot to be said for that level of respect. Secondly, my hubs-who pretty much despises the medical profession as a whole due to his own past trauma- totally admires and loves this man. And lastly, all of the walls in his office are a testimonial to how cherished, respected and well-liked this doctor and his office staff are-absolutely covered in baby pics and thank you letters. Have been a patient of Dr. Zittel for the past 8 years. He has always been very respectful, timely, knowledgeable and informative. His personal staff is amazing as well as being very kind. He has taken me/my female health into its perimenopausal stages of my life as well and I find him to be a very compassionate and understanding doctor. I do have to say that the front office staff is not always very polite but that is the price of belonging to a large medical practice I suppose. read more

I've only been to this office a few times and for ultrasounds since my doctor's office doesn't do them in house. Almost every time I've been there the receptionist at the front desk isn't the friendliest. Today she made me feel like a horrible person cause I was running late and decided to give me a little lecture. Well thankfully this will probably be my last time going there because enough is enough. The ultrasound tech is very friendly and nice, I have no complaints about her. I've never seen Dr. Zittel so I can't post about him just his front desk lady. I really like the receptionist where I go at the other Physician's Associates in Longwood. Arrived early to my first appointment. Wasn't seen until almost 30 minutes after appointment time. When it was finally my turn I was taken in the back and waited a long time again in the room. Dr. Zittel finally came in and said he ran out of time. Spent less than 5 minutes with me and said nice to meet me and apologized. He told me he didn't have time for my appointment so to come back next week and tell the front desk that I don't have to pay a co-pay since he didn't get to see me. The next appointment no one believed it happened so I paid the co-pay again. In the appointment, I told him I was there for fertility issues. He did NOTHING but refer me to a specialist. I asked him about Metformin since that's an extremely popular drug to start off before trying IVF and other methods. He said he couldn't prescribe it to me because that's a quick way to get pregnant. I said, "But I want to get pregnant. That's why I'm here." He said he wasn't an expert and gave me referral cards for clinics instead. He was obviously trying to pass me off and wasn't interested in seeing me. My next Doctor put me on Metformin and I got pregnant. Do not go see this man if you have fertility issues. He is extremely insensitive and unknowledgeable about these issues. You will be pushed off. Before I left he did tell me to come back if I do get pregnant eventually. Yeah right. read more

I am new to Lake Mary and Florida. As of September 2010 I have been under the care of Zittel MD for about 2 months. I like his consultation style. This physician is compared to 8 other Gynecologists I have seen over the years. In fact, I usually change every year but I will probably continue any necessary treatments with these folks. What I like best is that the physician and the nurses/staff/assistants are all very helpful and friendly. I think they are All actually Interested in Womens Health. I have only experienced that sort of office culture in 1other location elsewhere. I did not expect such care in a small town. He also treats my mother and has treated her for a few years. read more

Dr. Zittel is a wonderful doctor. I had a high risk pregnancy b/c I had complete placenta previa and he was amazing. He took extra precautions and explained everything thoroughly to my husband and I throughout my entire pregnancy. When I go back for my annual visits, he and the nurses always make it a point to come see me and ask how my family is. It's the best care I've ever received from an doctor's office in my lifetime. He is very caring and it shows. He's almost 45 minutes away from me but I refuse to switch to a closer doctor! read more

I went to Dr. Z for several years- then I had a high risk pregnancy. He was DONE with me. Even when the high risk doctors said I could consult with my physician- his nurse let me know I they were done with me. I used to really like him and the practice. He is a doctor for when things are going well- but that is not really when you need your own doctor. Find someone willing to be there by your side when you really need them. read more

Hello, My wife received a letter today discharging her from PA signed by Dr Greg Zittel. Greg lied in the letter stating that she REFUSED treatment options. She simply felt rushed into a D&C after only 1 ultrasound and no blood work and we wanted to let it happen naturally if that was the case. The only treatment option was not the D&C, we called the office and told them that we wanted to do it naturally. Is that not another option for a patient?? On October 18th we came back in only because Dr Zittel requested most likely because of the previous complaint we filed about how he handled the situation. He was running late on our appt time and we had to get back to work because we are on a lunch break, so we simply said we would need to reschedule the appointment. Then not even 48 hours later she began the miscarriage and heavy bleeding started. She was admitted into Central Florida Hospital where a D&C was performed the following day due to excessive tissue still remaining. His receptionist Beth at the 18th appt filled out her FMLA paperwork, but did not fill it out based on a standard miscarriage time allotment, she only approved the one week she was out of work from the 3rd until the 7th when we were waiting for the miscarriage. We received a call from our company's FMLA team who stated that they could not approve her for the 20, 21 of having to leave work when she did start to miscarry because they only gave her 1 week of time. We called Beth and she said we refused to see the doctor. My wife told her she didnt, she had to leave because of work. She then referenced 2 more times during the same conversation and at this time my wife was already in car on the way to the hospital. I got on the phone and she told me that very same thing again. I explained to her what happened, but she was not listening to me obviously because she kept saying the same things. She said Dr Zittel would not approve the "extra" time needed because we did not follow up. My question was, was this not already diagnosed as a miscarriage and if it was not why did he jump to do a D&C? I also mentioned that we did not schedule that next ultrasound, he did. Now we know that Dr Zittel was lying by saying he HAD to see us again and thats why he did not do the paperwork. The diagnosis was unchanged and we had already paid our 10.00 fee to the office. Beth should have been more clear when she asked us to fill out the request form and Dr Zittel should be more professional instead of being spiteful towards a patient that was unable to follow up after an ultrasound. I asked for the Office manager and explained to her what was going on and she said she would talk to him. I told her we are coming in for a follow up and to call us so we can schedule the appointment for Dr Zittel to re-confirm a failed pregnancy that he previously diagnosed, but she never called back. Here we are today, a letter comes in saying do not come back to not only Dr Zittel, but Dr Caggiano who had no involvement in this. Well I can promise you my entire family who was seen by your office as well as myself who has been there for 5 years or so will also not be returning, not to worry. I find this absurd and it sickens me to think Dr Zittel is that big of a crybaby that he would do this and not even have the nerve to pick up the phone. I think maybe he just wasn't man enough to face his bad decision to not fill out paperwork for a patient who was in need and in a lot of emotional distress. To this day, we have heard nothing from him until this letter and I would have loved to speak to him about how big of a coward he has acted like and maybe he will read this and see that he is an immoral, irrational, over-sensitive Gregory. Anyway, I have filed a complaint with the BBB and I hope they mark you negative. I will also be posting on every single website that offers a review of him what happened and a link to my BBB posting. I have been seeing Dr. Zittel for years now. By far the best experience I have ever had. He is quick, efficient and handles everything with care. After exams you are dressed and you meet him after clothed in his office for any discussions you need to have so he can make sure all your needs are met while your not freezing in a paper gown like other Dr's He helped me with different forms of birth control which I found the perfect one and when I changed my mind he handled my pregnancy with great care! I had a difficult pregnancy and he was extremely understanding and helpful and so was his staff. The entire office is great! I moved and I still drive just to see him and his staff and I wouldn't see anyone else! read more

this office staff and doctor is rude and greedy. i have been a patient for over 5ys, never had an issue with payment. i pay them everytime i go in. i request to get skyla birth control installed, i called about 3-4x prior to my appointment, and the staff didnt give me any information or medication prior to me coming in. when i went in to have skyla installed in my vagina they said, oh we are sorry you should have been given medication to open up your cervix , sorry it cant be installed today. now we want you to return and pay another doctors visit even though nothing was installed. what a rip off. they charged my insurance company for the birth control and i never got anything installed and they charged me for the visit. now they want me to come back for the same thing that they already charged me for, and they want to charge me again. i never got any services rendered or my birth control but they billed me and my insurance company. and now they refuse to give me the birth control without another payment. i have been with them for yrs and this is how they treat their patients. read more
