My wife and I were traveling from MN to CO when the AC in our 2012 F250 went out on the way thru Casper. Since we were planning to stay overnight in Casper with our travel trailer we contacted Greiner Ford on Wednesday night at around 4pm and were put in touch with Sean Lavin, a Quick Lane Advisor. We explained our situation and Sean had us check in Thursday morning at 6:45. They got our truck fixed up and we were on our way to CO before noon that same day. Our gratitude to Sean and the mechanic for their willingness to work with our situation and get us on the road as quickly as they did. We will travel thru Casper in the future (in fact, we are staying in Casper on our way back to MN as I write this review!) and will always remember how Sean and the folks at Greiner Ford treated us. We have been on a recall list for 3 months now. Well today going down the interstate it let loose and destroyed not only the recall pillar but the rain deflector, the weather stripping going around the window, and the paint. Around the window and on the sides. Ford will be taking care of all this. It's crazy to me this recall is taking this long. Figure it out. read more

I normally do not post negative reviews, but I feel the need to after my latest experience. 6 Months ago, i was driving to Casper from Glendo doing about 80 miles an hour when my 2018 F150 suddenly down shifted from 10th to 1st gear it was a pretty scary incident and the rest of the drive i slowed down. Took it to Greiner Ford there was no recall on that year there are numerous issues with that 10-speed transmission, and I spent approximately 8K to get it repaired. I picked up the truck and less than a week later I get a check charging system now message on the display. I took it back to Greiner because it seemed a bit of a coincidence that the alternator would fail after the transmission repair. I was told that my driver side valve cover had an oil leak, and the oil had fouled and damaged the alternator which was close to 3K to repair. They replaced the valve cover gasket (which i am pretty sure was replaced when they did the cam phaser recall just over 2 years before) and the alternator. Fast forward to this week as I was driving back to Casper from Glenrock I get the Check charging system now message again and the 2018 F150 started shutting down non-essential electronics. I scheduled an appointment with Greiner to have it looked at. I took it in they looked at it and told me the driver side valve cover had a leak and had damaged the alternator requiring replacement. I thought great I have a 24-month warranty on the work they performed 6 months ago it will only cost me a few days without my truck....BUT The service agent told me that they found a crack in the valve cover which they say caused the failed alternator and because it was not the gasket they replaced, I would be responsible for another 3K to have it fixed. I asked them if when the gasket was replaced could it have been the crack in the valve cover they missed they assured me it was not. I also asked if the valve cover was overnighted when reassembled they assured me it was not and after speaking with their warrantee expert there is no option for me other than me paying 3K to have this same issue (valve cover leak) repaired AGAIN. I waited a few days to post this review until my blood pressure went back to normal and have kept my anger under control while writing this. I feel I have been stabbed in the back by a company I have supported most of my adult life. I understand that by me switching brands will in no way hurt their bottom-line but would hope this review will be enough to sway readers to seek other options. This is not a coincidence, and, in my opinion, it is borderline criminal. read more

Great car buying experience and Brian in service is top notch! It would have been 5 stars if I financed through my own bank. I would have gotten a much better rate and be able to easily payoff loan early. Finance set me up with driveway finance to make money off of selling you this loan. I assumed I was going to get set up thru Ford Credit but instead driveway financial which has terrible online reviews. They would not give me a payoff quote over phone because of "money laundering." They said to increase payment to their daily limit to payoff early. I feel This is a scam as this policy they have to prevent "money laundering" only serves to benefit them. My check engine light was on and the car had made a squealing sound a couple times. Then I noticed it was idling a little loud and not really accelerating the way it should. Still drivable though so was thinking something minor. Came back it was a timing issue and was 6000 to repair. While timing issues are expensive to repair 6000 seems really overpriced. So was going to take the car for a second opinion however now the car is pretty much not drivable. Was not like this before the diagnostic at ford. Was billowing smoke out the exhaust and had a loud knocking in engine. Yes it did have issues before but was 100 times worse after taking it to be looked at by ford. I can't prove they did anything wrong but I dont see how my car could have got so much worse without even being drove anywhere. Will never take a car there again. ​Yep today i found out that no oil was put back in my car during my oil change at greiner. Caused the engine to seize. I took the vehicle from greener after the oil change straight to another dealership and they found not a drop of oil in the vehicle. read more

When I went for an oil change, my car was returned with the oil light flashing on. I have taken it in twice to no avail. Now, I'm suppose to take it in, yet again, and no valet or shuttle offered. When I take it in, they are always running behind by at least three hours. They overbook terribly. I'll be taking my car elsewhere. read more

This past Friday I called over 8 times and was sent to voicemail everytime, even after trying multiple departments. I went to the dealership, stood in the service write up area and tried to call again to observe what was happening. I saw 2 service advisors not currently with customers and not on the phone. The phones were not ringing when I called from inside the dealership. I posted this same review on Google and apparently it was removed or buried by SEO, and I never got a response or apology. I saw multiple other reviews where management responded, on both positive and negative reviews. I can't speak for their workmanship, but not being able to get through by phone during business hours over multiple calls does not instill confidence read more

Greiner had great reviews in years past, not so much lately, so thought I would add a little balance. On the way to Casper a semi blew the passenger windshield wiper off our RV during a rainstorm. Wasn't able to readjust or tighten it properly in said storm, so called Greiner while in town to correct the issue, they took me right in after I had called several other places that couldn't do the work. Dropped it off in the late morning, called later in the afternoon to check on it and they said about an hour. About an hour later I came in, it was done, they knocked some labor off the job due to the astronomical prices of new wiper blades for RV's, and all in all, a good experience for us - things work and needed new wipers anyway... read more

In response, Attitude reflects attitude and if your employee wasnt disrespectful I wouldnt have been either. And also Ford Corporate and a Ford mechanic have both said the engine cover should have been removed to complete the job correctly and regardless the car came to you with an engine cover and came back without one. There are customer service classes available to businesses like yours. But thank you for your response and it will just be added to your open case files with corporate in Michigan. Traveling thru WY and had a truck issue. Pulled in Greiner and they said they were booked until Wednesday (we pulled in on Friday). Told us to call other ford dealerships which we did and found one in NE that could look at truck. When we pulled out of dealership the truck almost came to a dead stop on the main road, Went back in and Ryan said he would make a call and was able to get us in that day. Long story short we were pulling out of Casper 24 hours later with repairs done and a reprogramed key and a new key all together. Very happy with service and help. Would definitely recommend going there. read more

My F150 was plagued with problems, and the service dept at Lithia Greiner has been terrible. No one answers calls, and no one returns messages, so it became impossible to get any service, warranty repairs or recalls done. I sold the truck and won't even consider buying another Ford until there is a better dealership to do business with. read more

So we moved to Casper after buying our F250 in Nevada and we opted for the Ford care which covers most service wether it's scheduled or not. I've used them for every oil change and a few bigger maintenance issues because they are the only Ford dealer within about 150 miles. My biggest complaint is that the service department seems to know that you know that there's nothing else you can do but wait. The only reason I give them 3 stars is because the staff that I interact with minimally are pleasant and available without being over bearing. I'd love to buy a vehicle from someone at this dealership but I don't know how many more 2+ hour oil changes I have in me. The quick lane guys that I interact with are nice enough but they're always behind. My last 2 visits to the "quick lane" lasted over 2 hours. I'm not convinced they complete the service I request because last time I asked for a tire rotation my tires still had the same pressure on the same tires when I got it back. I don't hate coming here but the service lane really needs to step it up so I don't dread bringing my truck in and risk wasting my afternoon. read more

Service Department at Greiner is very dishonest and fails to answer the phone or call back. They lied about a engine issue being wrong with my vehicle before it was taken into them for repairs on another issue. After this other mechanics were contacted and stated that the engine issue came from initial issue. Due to the fact they stated the engine was destroyed prior we couldn't get any assistance from company at fault for causing entire situation. read more

We were traveling from OKC to Gardiner MT for vacation and our F150 started hesitating/mis-firing when climbing hills...got bad enough that the check engine light came on. We stopped in Casper WY, finding Greiner Ford's service dept was open - this was about 1130 on a Saturday. The Service Advisor there got us in and the mechanics did the diagnostics on it right away. On a slow Saturday "Lacey" stood outside and socialized with a customer after telling me she would be right with me. We bought a car back in September. They messed up the paperwork, so we had to redo the paperwork in October. We got new temporary plates, a new bill of sale, and a different loan price. Well flash forward to December, we went to get plates and they never sent the bill of sale. So, fought with them for a little while to have them send that in. Well they finally sent it and they sent the bill of sale from September. MEANING I had to pay $300 in late fees and $500 more in sales tax. Definitely recommend going anywhere else. Also, if they know they've screwed you over don't expect them to answer any of your phone calls. read more

I bought a new car from Greiner Ford. While we were trying to buy the car, the general manager Bob D. repeatedly attempted to manipulate the pricing and would interrupt me and my family at multiple points over the course of the conversation. After 2 months we go to the court house to get the license plates, but there's no title at the court house and on top of that the vehicle buyers order claimed that we hadn't made any payments on the vehicle, when in all reality we payed cash for the vehicle and we have a bank statement that says they cashed the check into the bank. After this whole ordeal we tried calling their offices and they would not pick up. Finally we called the manager Bob D. and he was absolutely rude; he repeatedly talked over my mother and the county clerk official that was there as a witness and victim to his rudeness. Update 22 Dec 2017 The courthouse has never received the papers from Greiner/Lithia so I am unable to purchase my plates. Called them today to ask what is taking so long. She said, we have been trying to get the paperwork from the previous owner. I reminded her that it was a Greiner salesman who used it as a demo (making it a used vehicle.) He is RIGHT THERE IN THE BUSINESS!! She said there were 2 signatures missing. He is right there!! ...and they can't get the signatures from one of their salesmen? read more

Service Customers BEWARE!! Tire rotation is a service included in "The Works" which is what Ford calls its oil change and check up. This is the second time that I've been told my tires were rotated, when, in fact they weren't. I mark my two front tires near the valve stem so that I'll know if they have been rotated. The same thing has happened twice to my sister! I'm guessing that nobody is getting their tires rotated at Greiner. We all assume that people are honest about performing services, but If you take your Ford to be serviced in Casper, watch out! Mark your tires!! read more

I took my Suzuki Sx4 to Greiner Ford-Cy Avenue, Casper,Wyoming 1 month ago for a possible coolant leak on September 22nd, 2017. The technicians took two weeks to complete the repairs( radiator, water pump replacement, and cracked belts). The service advisor called me 1 week and a half after leaving the car at Greiner Ford and said the technicians had replaced the radiator and the radiator replacement was leaking. So the techs had to order another aftermarket radiator. $1186 in repairs, $530 for a rental car for 8 days. I picked up my car yesterday 10/20/2017 and the Check Engine light was on-it was not on when I took it to them. I don't know what kind of technicians they have there, but it sure seems they do not know what they are doing. read more

Really dishonest people. T was great. But Bob and Sam were unbearable to attempt to talk too. Long story short. I left sunglasses in a trade in. I called back 1 hour after and the front desk and T confirmed they had them and would mail back. 3 weeks later no sunglasses. Called, Sam said if you give us all 5s on survey I'll send you new sunglasses. Even received a photo of the sunglasses they bought for replacement. Completed 2nd survey yes 2nd because 1st one we were lied to. Their correction was to send out 2nd survey and say they would replace sunglasses if they received all 5s. Well we did it and when we called to check status of sunglasses they gave us the run around. You can bet I was irate on phone when Bob laughed at me and said it was my fault for leaving sunglasses. Just bad Buisneas. 64k truck and the $120 sunglasses aren't the point. BD Buisness is how they operate. Unfortunate. Real Ford as been contacted and handling. read more

I received notice from Ford that I had 2 recalls so I called and scheduled my service with Ryan Broderecht. He let me know I really had 6 recalls on my car and how long it would take to perform all the services, including my oil change. The service center set up a loaner for me for the 3 days and Ryan's team got everything done in the time-frame he stated. BUYER BEWARE!!! This company has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau and for good reason! They never responded to our concerns and didn't even answer any of the customer complaints on BBB. A complete disregard for their customers! I am not a hard person to please but I felt that after being treated the way we had by both the Service Manager, Andrew Savoy, and the Vice President, Pete Greiner, I have to let everyone know what a horrible company this is. Ford Headquarters is also being made aware of the many issues with this company. The technicians do not know what they are doing and completely misdiagnosed a problem on our Ford Explorer. Now I am out $900 and have to pay $4,000 to have my transmission replaced only two days after they worked on my vehicle. The dealership I had to take my Explorer to also could not believe what shaby work Greiner Ford had done and said any trained technician would have known how to work on my vehicle.
