The hotel it self is perfect- seated on the lock down a road though a sheep pasture- our rooms overlooked the water- walking trails . With a warm fire in the common room- and billiards .
The restaurant tries to have a fusion cuisine , but most people who come to skye want some traditional basics- they ran out of many entrees and selection of cheeses. At dinner and at breakfast.
The staff is great, the owner should let his staff manage the restaurant and things might go smoothly.
