Other drivers from this company do a better job, it's a good employer, and I love the designs on the trucks.

The Indiana Welcome Center is a fun place to stop when traveling. The building is clean and has…read moreinformation things to do while visiting Indiana. But the more fun part is the statue and memorabilia related to Indiana's most famous movie, A Christmas Story. There is a statue of Flick getting his tongue stuck to the flagpole on the flagpole outside of the visitor's center and a display case full of pictures and props on the inside. Definitely an opportunity for pictures here! I highly recommend the Indiana Welcome Center!

The historical charm of this well maintained and clean station. With its original paver bricks platform and walkways. The freshly painted iron lampposts. If you want to sit inside out of weather; the beautiful Train Station is open during daytime hours. The ticketing booths are electronic; easy to locate outside and take card. It's simple to use. The price is really good in my opinion. It's much more expensive to ride in Europe, and a lot less in China. Pay to Park outside, if you want to park and ride. This line goes along a beautiful landscaped and busy business district. The MacNeal Hospital, Loyola Medical Center is at this stop. So is the Tastee Corner Cafe. Delicious family style diner , with excellent food! Good value & up the street on Oak Park, South. Familia Fresh Market, excellent grocer. With a cafe. Also wonder parks to rest nearby: a laundromat just West of the stop. Beautiful homes and a lot to see here. Wonderful train station. Well maintained! Berwyn keeps surprising me left and right with all these special spots

A few start up airlines have operated out of GYY but unfortunately these airlines have failed in these difficult economic times. If a major airline starts service here, this airport can be very successful. This could relieve traffic at O'Hare and Midway. Many of those in northwest Indiana could benefit as well. The perpetual road construction projects and traffic on I-90 and I-94 out to O'Hare has cause many travelers to miss their flights. It's close proximity to the South Shore Railroad makes access to this airport very easy to get to. Once their master plan is complete, I would hope service from the major carriers start up. Boeing parks their corporate jets here at GYY.

Wait time seemed average /CTA driver was nice. MEMORY LANE In the 1960s we used to take this bus to get to the Museum of Science and Industry. In those days, we had to transfer to another bus to get further east. The bus transfer was where Visitation High School used to be. (I'm sure you are thrilled with this information! : ) CTA Review #8
