We ended up choosing Mandy Harter with Remax 4000. When she first came over she was very open to listening to the position we were in. During the interview process she was very realistic with numbers on our house and the process of a short-sale. She absolutely didn't tell us what we wanted to hear like 3 other realtors did. She came prepared and in a timely manner. She was very empathetic towards our situation and truly showed and proved she was working for us as our house had a contract in 8 days. From the referral I was told Mandy Harter was a "smart-cookie, a go-getter, and a top producer." I would absolutely have to agree with the referral. She was that and more. Mandy would call and give us updates on the loan status on a regular basis, tell us what the bank needed next and was very supportive of our showing availability as I have 2 kids under 2 who were on a schedule. She made all the phone calls to the bank to keep the ball rolling. You would never know that Mandy is a top producer in Grand Junction by her actions. She is very down to earth, loves the outdoors, honest, and experienced. We were never fed any lines that were not true. If she didn't know something she would call and get the answer. A short-sale is a process that nobody really knows what is going on until the bank approves it. Mandy was always realistic with her time frames on hearing something back and we were never over-promised on anything. She priced our house to sell as we were making changes with our personal life very fast. The appraisals all came in where they needed to be which proved to me that she is an expert in this industry. With this kind of a sell the bank wants every piece of information in you life and I ALWAYS felt like she kept our financial and personal information secure and confidential. Some other realtors had a "team" working on sells like this and that is something I DIDN'T want was more people to know our position as it was extremely emotional for our family.
