Find an owner/landlord property without the third party, and GJ isn't very big but you'd be better off with any other management company besides PSGJ. Side note, met the actual owner of my property who is from GJ but now lives in Chicago. He was physically in my unit multiple times just a couple of weeks before I moved out and he thanked me for taking such good care of the apartment. First and foremost, they use a broker agency that charges $600 just for you to sign the lease. I didn't even get to see the apartment because tenants were still in there. They find every excuse to slap on excessive fees. What should be simple turn into expensive endeavors, with little transparency about the costs. They charge a move in fee of $500 and a move out fee of $100. You have to pay a $400+ fee to get security deposit insurance. $2 every time you want do a load of laundry. Pet deposit on top of a monthly fee. I hope I stirred you away already with all of this. Not to mention, it's nearly impossible to get a hold of them, and when they do respond, it's usually with vague answers or dismissive attitudes. They seem more interested in squeezing money out of tenants rather than providing any real service. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I recommend looking elsewhere.
