Eagle & Phenix

BEAUTIFUL LANDMARK IN UPTOWN COLUMBUS GEORGIA…read more================================================ My husband and I were staying across the river at the end of April and beginning of May while visiting my son. This whole complex including the water tower is so strikingly beautiful in the way it looks. I just couldn't help myself from taking multiple photos of it. This big property is now mixed-use residential and commercial property, but it was originally a cotton mill back in 1860. I really hate this part of history, but I am just explaining the history of this complex. They produced the material for the Confederate uniforms during the Civil War. The Eagle Mills buildings were burned during the war, but were rebulit in 1869 and renamed the Eagle & Phenix Mills to symbolize rising from the ashes. It became the largest mill in the south by 1878. W. C. Bradley was on the board of the company that owned the mill and he ended up owning the mill from 1915 until 1947. In December of 2003 the mill property was repurchased by W. C. Bradley Co.. If you drive around Uptown Columbus you will see that name on most of the properties along the Chattahoochee River. Just "Google" it and you will learn more history of the property. Check out my photos.

starting off saying I've lived at Springridge for quite a while. I've gone through several members…read morein teams different companies that have bought this place. It's changed hands several times with all of that being said Springridge is a place you can go the rent right now for a two bedroom is 806 a month. I think it's about nine something for a three bedroom not bad not the best neighborhood. My car has been broken into my neighbor across the way. His car has been broken been drug bus in the area twice. I guess you get what you lower prices but the neighborhood. The marijuana if it doesn't take you out nothing else will neighbors smoke extensively constantly you're smelling marijuana so strong coming through your apartment that if you have an actual professional job like I do, you could probably get tested and test positive is coming through my AC vents so I have to keep my AC on at all times to push it back out and yet and still my apartment still like marijuana as if I'm smoking it. The management team that we have is only here on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM to 12 so you get a total of three hours for two days to be able to get in touch with management face-to-face any other way of contacting management you will call the main office for Springridge. They'll send you over Cotton send you over to gonna go they're not in this office but Tuesday and Thursdays for three hours would I recommend this place if you can afford to live somewhere else better I would recommend you go somewhere else. I also had to deal with neighbor of mine being a pervert harassing. I had to file a police report. I don't bother this person, but this person was constantly bothering me so by the grace of God, I thank the Lord they stopped. do the cameras work around the complex? We have cameras on every building but still if anything go down they're not able to see it. The landlords have also told the tenants not to put debris big pieces of furniture and so forth out by the by the garbage don't put your sofas out there. Don't put your dressers out there. Don't put big pieces of furniture out there. You need to have someone to haul it might as put it out there because there's garbage everywhere all over the ground behind the compactor and it's a constant thing. if I was able to be able to afford a better place, I would definitely go. I'm praying and asking God to move me and my disabled kids. I have one daughter that has autism. I have another daughter that has anxieties really bad to the point where it hinders her so much in life and I'm just praying and staying in the face of God to get my children through. I stay here because financially this is all I can afford for now. Do I trust God that he gonna give me better and greater yes would I honestly tell someone to come and move here? Absolutely not let this be a place that if you have no other choice no other means financially you're in a tight and you're not able to afford anything else then let this be the place where you go. I pray that whoever reads this hears that I am not lying. I'm being straightforward and honest Springridge in Phenix City is not a place you wanna be it's most definitely is not a place you wanna be management again as I say is only here on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They don't have a consistent management team here all the time every place that I've stayed before there was a manager or management in the office for Monday through Fridays from 9 to 4 else but these apartments I guess because there's some kind of low rent low. I don't even know low income. I don't know what these apartments are because at one point in time they said they weren't low income, but yet and still, they wanna know how much money you make how much income you got all week they wanna know your bank account was in it they wanna know was in your children's bank account if they got it my disabled kids money they wanna know Child Support they wanna know everything but yet and still they say these are no longer low income . I'm grateful for the fact that they're very low in price but at the same time there's so many things that but I'm just giving God praises for having a roof over my head. I really am please don't think I'm not grateful but at the end of the day I'm I'm believing God that he is going to move me to a better place where I can come out of this place so I totally would not recommend this to anybody unless this is your last resort.
