The entire property, inside and out, is truly well built and designed. The only problem is... people stay here for years, so finding availability means looking well ahead of time most of the time. I love how the second-floor apartments have strong enough flooring that you don't bother the apartment underneath with every step you make. Of course, noise is still possible, but it isn't a big deal if you don't have kids jumping around or a large dog jumping around. The apartments also have different floor-plan styles for each bedroom count, and you can choose between a patio or an enclosed area that gives you more interior square footage. This apartment community also has food trucks coming by every month, and they do plenty of events for residents to meet each other. I love it. It even has the best gym I have ever seen. It is huge and has everything you need and more. This is the first place I have lived where I want to stay as long as I can, to build up enough savings, and eventually move on to owning a home. Oh, and the leasing staff is the best I have ever dealt with. The staff members themselves stay here for years. This is one of the greatest signs the place is well operated and enjoyable to work at.

Half the time you'll be stuck in the after-hours message, even during business hours. And if you manage to get in person, they act clueless! Hidden fees: They promised a prorated rent for my final month, then slammed me with the full rent, an "early termination fee," and kept my security deposit. Rodent roommates: worst of all was issues with rats! Their ineffective pest control team leaves poison for months in the kitchen, doing little to capture the actual problem. Repeated requests for assistance go unanswered. Car robberies: happen frequently, and nothing is done to make the place more secure. No added security, no gates. When asked what is being done about it, the staff has no plans.

This made it easy for my elderly mom to get in but also afforded safety when she was on the balcony smoking. That was over two years ago and I have to say I love, love Greystone. For all the reasons I chose to live her as well as awesome management, community feel, great maintenance and beautiful landscaping. Haley (rental agent) was pleasant when applying until I was approved. You've been approved for no deposit, just the first month prorated to move in. I was ecstatic! I proceeded to go online to sign the lease agreement but I couldn't electronically sign, she informed that she had to make a revised agreement and I had to pay 2k deposit additionally, I asked why and she said I didn't have rental history, although my scores where great ( fantastic scores), I was scratching my head, so I called back to get Jennifer on the phone and she said you are good, no deposit and commented on my credit scores and she said oh no deposit required, I said ok. so she re-sent the rental agreement and I also got a call from Ursula, she said Haley handled the process accordingly and that I should have paid a deposit for the same reason Haley gave, but because she told me no deposit, she offered another alternative, I ended up paying prorated rent to move in (no deposit). Lets go back to the showing of the apartments, Haley showed me 3 unit, two of which were very nice ( immaculate) almost brand new, the apartments where well lit (lighting) was very good even without my glasses I could see everything, the 3rd apartment a bit more spacious, but the vents were dust, balcony door had red dirt splattered all over it and a mess of bird poop on the balcony floor, Haley looked at it as if it was a part of the fixture. I said, " Can someone come in and clean this unit, she said, " I can call maintenance, i said ok. So I was given the keys, I noticed when Haley was trying to unlock the door, the key was getting stuck, she said nothing about it as if it was normal. SMH! All the things I pointed out with the apartment were pointed out by me, and they were so obvious; nevertheless, I moved in and didn't enjoy my time as I had hoped to. My daughter has an autoimmune condition, and she needed a sanitary and serene environment. Upon moving in, Maintenace had not came and cleaned the areas we discussed when viewing the apartment ( dusty vents, dingy bath tub, mold around the drain rings in sinks and tubs, poop on the balcony floor that was extremely harden and was extremenly hard to remove, mud on the door, the only reason i agreeded to the apartment is because of the space and having to full bathrooms for my daughter personal needs. My car was damaged on the property on more than 2 occasions, and my car was rummaged through on two occasions. Maintenance or anyone else came and cleaned the bird poop on the balcony or the dusty vents, but they only attempted to clean the stained bathtub in my daughter's bathroom because they had to replace the stopper in the tub. My daughter was later tested to find out that she's allergic to dogs, and soon after that, she had to have surgery in January 2025, and on top of this, she lost her Father. These were very tough times for us. I did not bother to talk to anyone in the office about any of our issues after they repeatedly failed to address other concerns. I informed the office that we would not be renewing our lease and proceeded to find a more suitable place for my daughter. There are so many more things I could talk about here; it goes on and on and on with the violent neighbors below and the kids knocking on my door and running to the elevator or the stairwell when I answer the door. I didn't bother to report those things because of experience. One of the neighbors witnessed my car getting hit by another car, and she took pictures and caught some of it on video. I took them to the office, and they did nothing. My Main concern when deciding not to renew was my daughter's physical and mental health. On the few occasions I spoke to Ursula, I didn't feel heard, as a matter of fact. The first time I spoke to Ursula face-to-face was to get the key that I spoke about earlier fixed, because it was a struggle to open and lock my apartment door. She says to me, "Where is your 2nd key"? I said Haley only gave me 1 key and this fob, she say's no where is it, as if i was lying, (rude) as if she was talking to a kid, she said I'm sure Haley gave you two keys, shes pretty good at her job, she looked in a folder in Haley's desk and sure enough there was the 2nd key in a folder. No apologies for the way she talked to me, she just gave the first key to a maintenance person to repair. I was offended. I didn't want to participate in any of the residential fun or events due to being treated like this so early on. I missed out on things i would have normally enjoyed. When I moved out, I left the place in better condition than it was when it was leased to me, very clean, but I didn't bother to scrape the balcony porch; I left that just like it was given to me. No thanks for that!

The elevators in our building is out a lot. you can hear people walking, talking out in the hallway and doors closing at all hours. The elevators and hallways smell like animals most of the time, the smell of marijuana and cigarette smoke is very strong in the hallways and from units below. We have decided to move.
