After asking multiple times to give me a referral for imaging, the receptionist became hostile towards me all from asking for treatment! They've now just ignored my case after saying they'd check with my insurance multiple times. They just never have an answer or respond after this. This is the type of place you'd find in some back alley. I would suggest avoiding at all costs.

He told me that was because he had never given it to me, I let him try 4 times in one foot to inject (he blamed his mis trys on my veins which no other Dr. had ever had a problem with) I left in more pain. My father has limited English comprehension and yet Dr. Winslow always manages to properly communicate with him. He emphasizes proper diet and exercise as any good cardiologist would and is meticulous in his efforts to make sure each of his patients receive the proper attention and care. Unlike some of the other physicians I've encountered, he doesn't dole out all his duties to his staff and assistants. When my father had a valve replacement late last year, Dr. Winslow referred my father to one of the top surgeons at Northwestern and also helped ensure a proper (and fast) recovery each and every step of the way. Needless to say, Dr. Winslow did nothing short of saving my father's life. I feel blessed to still have my father in my life and am extremely grateful for Dr. Winslow's efforts.

He only spoke to me when I waived my hands in the air and asked him to speak to me as the patient. He did not acknowledge his chauvinistic treatment of me and said he was speaking to both of us even though he was only looking at my husband. I wonder how many other women who do not have the courage to be outspoken has he also treated poorly? Dr. Tack is a rude, chauvinistic jerk.

I had recently been in a car accident that caused me to have a herniated disc. During the treatment he mentioned that my wife looked lethargic and that he could help her. With some coaxing she agreed and he treated her on the spot. She was a completely new woman. Lots of fun and energy. No more epileptic petit mal seizures. Wow! She was like a teenager and was now very hard for me to keep up with. That was over 25 years ago. The very first time that led me to Dr. Shepherd was after I had been to a number of specialists. That was in the mid 1980's and they prescribed many different drugs to combat my debilitating illness that was caused by a severe electric shock. Those medications made me feel worse. My dentist told me to see this uniquely wonderful physician. Dr. Shepherd's treatment got rid of my excruciating headaches, stopped the seizures and got me off those drugs. I say he saved my life and made me whole. I decided on Advance Foot & Ankle after meeting with Dr. Hare. I knew the surgery would keep me off my feet for a while, but couldn't deal with the pain any longer. My case of Haglund's was extreme. After having Dr. Hare do the surgery, I'm now upset with myself that I took so long to have it done. I'm a year out now and have absolutely no issues, but my recovery was much quicker than that probably only a couple months.
