My experience with Junkdrop was dismal and unprofessional. We used them previously (several years…read moreago) when they were using young high school and college kids and all was good and went smoothly. I used their services several weeks ago and it will be the last time. They dropped off all of our things at a woman's home; they literally dropped it in her front yard. The homeowner found our name amongst the pile of rubbish and called my husband complaining about our stuff being dumped in her yard. He had to explain that it was Junkdrop that did this and we had nothing to do with it. What a debacle and embarrassment to their company. There was also no offer of refunding the expensive costs we incurred. We will not use them again, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend them anymore.

For $7.50 a week (that's basically the cost of one Starbucks coffee a week, if I was one to pay $5-6.00 plus tax for a cup of coffee... lol) but for that modest fee, they pull into my driveway right on time every single week and they quickly empty the trash and back on out. If I'm outside and we see each other, they always say hi. The workers are such nice pleasant hardworking people. Despite my trash cans often being a regular horror show mess (usually due to some tenant who didn't use trash bags when they emptied garbage out of their cars, which is an ongoing hassle due to tenants regularly moving in & out & me having to try to train yet another grown man not to throw full cups of cold drinks on top of garbage in my garbage cans because I don't enjoy having to wash them out when they do that......ugh...) I no longer have to stress taking my garbage off so this has been, as I said the best $30.00 a month I've ever spent. Anyway, I digress, McMurtry Disposal has even picked up a bag or two by my back door when I have absentmindedly forgotten to take them out to the cans in time, they've done that without me asking. So this company does an excellent, very reliable job for me week after week through snow, rain and my awful trash, at a very reasonable rate (I used to have to take my trash off myself and it was such a hassle, a mess and I dreaded it every time so I really appreciate the job they do for me.
