After falling behind with cleaning house, as we now have a newborn, Ann and co. did a great job helping our family catch back up. The cleaners are professional and thorough. The estimate and booking process were extremely easy and reasonably priced. We're thankful that we are offered peace of mind in that the cleaning will be done by someone we can trust and in a manner that doesn't require us to spend time before or after prepping or touching up. Slight irritant that everything is too clean and I am now afraid of dirtying the clean surfaces. read more

Do not hire Grime Stoppers!! We hired them to clean our newly purchased house and want a deep clean. They didnt do anything we asked. Anne was done cleaning our 5 bed room, 4 bathroom home which is 3900 square feet in 3 hours. She told us she had 5 cleaners there. When we told Anne we weren't happy and sent her pictures of the dirty doors, dirty cupboards, cob webs she said she would refund $50. We then stated that wasn't a fair resolution since nothing that was asked to be done was done. She then stated her and one girl were overwhelmed by the size of the house (she knew the size, numbers of bedrooms and bathrooms before ever being hired!)She then stated she vacuumed, washed windows and screens. Well we never wanted the windows washed. She was told many times we wanted the drawers, cupboards and floors as the main priority and to be a deep clean for moving in. We paid $450 and still had dirty toilets, floors, cupboards, drawers, and counters, along with dust and cob webs. Do not hire this business they lie, dont actually clean and over charge. read more

All I can say is that they are not worth your money. You might as well just bite the bullet and do it yourself. Pretty much what I had to do in the end. I wish I would have read some more reviews on them before I hired them but we were in a time crunch. Every poor review I read was pretty much what I experienced. I did read some good reviews initially and one had mentioned how they "pay attention to detail and go above and beyond." NOPE! The words that come to mind to explain this company is "Half A##". Please do not hire this company to clean your home. You will be disappointed in the end. read more

I initially was very happy with the service I received from Grime Stoppers. They were flexible and always polite and friendly when I was around. Until today. I texted the owner to reschedule my service and received a text that was intended for the other cleaners in return. This text referred to me in very derogatory terms. This unprofessional behavior was appalling and hurtful. I would never refer to a client in those terms and it saddens me to know that they believe this type of language is okay. read more

In Feb. of 2017, I hired them for a one-time, floor-to-ceiling cleaning of three rooms in a filthy apartment (extreme dust, smoke residue on the walls, cobwebs on walls/ceilings, general uncleanliness, etc.). I was very clear about the extreme cleaning required. Anne, the owner, came to look at the place, said she was able and willing, and we agreed on $300 for the job. On the day of the cleaning, Anne did not want me to remain while she and an assistant cleaned. Never having hired professionals before, I agreed; I thought it was standard procedure. When Anne called me to return after only a few hours, I returned. On a quick visual inspection, things looked much cleaner. I paid; they left. I took a closer look. They cleaned obvious things but neglected everything else. They did a very poor and slipshod job. Here are only a few of examples: large patches of walls were never washed or were patchy with dirty water streaks and hand prints, nothing was moved when dusting just haphazardly dusted around items, the tops of furniture/items were not dusted if they were up high (I'm tall and noticed), surfaces in kitchen and bathroom were wiped but never scrubbed, cobwebs were still all over ceilings, and on and on and on. Apparently, if they thought I couldn't see it, they didn't have to clean it. I called them; they returned and left after about an hour and a half. I had a comprehensive list of items, areas, etc. that they initially missed. They barely dented the list. I gave up. I was too upset to want them to return for a third time. I am a person with physical disabilities and mental illness. Anne told me that I was lucky that she was willing to "take on the job" and that places like "Merry Maids would not have" (took on the job). My impression was that Anne was always in a hurry, did not care about the quality of her work, and just wanted a quick buck. I feel foolish that I let myself get taken advantage of but I know better now. I waited a year to post this because I am often home-bound and only got a computer and the Internet a few weeks ago. Even so, it still bothers me, so I'm hoping this post will assuage my bad feelings but, most of all, prevent anyone else from being taken advantage of. With so many cleaning companies available in central MN, don't go with this one. read more
