It only took 2 days for my check to be clear and now nobody will return my messages RE: having the stump ground. This company clearly doesn't honor their documented agreements (yes, stump removal is in my invoice) nor do they communicate as to why a month has gone by with no end of job in sight. Here is the background for more clarity in how they do business: I needed a large tree removed in my front year and worked with 'Jim' to obtain an estimate for tree removal, haul debris, and grind the stump. I agreed to the job on Oct. 31st. Jim stated the crew would be here 'tomorrow' morning (11/1). At 10:30am on 11/1 I messaged Jim asking if the crew would be here today and he replied 'yes'. Nobody showed up. I inquired again, to which Jim replied that the crew asked if they could come 11/2 at 1pm; I said okay. Nobody showed up. I messaged Jim again to say nobody showed up. His only reply was 'ok'... The crew finally did arrive on 11/4 to remove the tree; no issues with tree removal. HOWEVER, Cut Right was to have their sub remove the large stump in the middle of my front yard shortly thereafter, per the agreement (and what I paid for). I've messaged Jim and subsequently Wesley directly and essentially have been ghosted the last couple attempts. I've been extremely patient with this and have provided every opportunity for them to respond/follow-up. To Wesley, Jim, and Cut Right Lawn and Tree Care: please honor your agreement and complete my job that has been paid in full.

In hindsight, the schedule coordinating seemed entirely AI. This would have been fine if they were able to meet the schedule set up. Reached out on Yelp this morning. Roto Rooter responded quickly and had technician out this morning. Of course issue somehow resolved itself by the time technician got there. Regardless, time was of the essence. Edgar was friendly, knowledgeable, and punctual. Will definitely use this service in the future.

I just received a receipt stating that the shut-off valve, supplied by him was not under warranty. How is that possible? Where did this part come from? Eddy, Roto Rooter technician, came in and assessed the situation and gave me a price. I agreed and signed the contract. (More expensive than other quotes but it's a well-known company). He starts the job and states the shut-off valve needs to be replaced and it will cost an additional $300. I said to cancel the contract. He stated that he would make the change at no additional charge. I agreed but then I received the receipt via email which now stated that the shut-off is not covered with the warranty. Now I'm questioning where did he get the valve from and was it tampered with....the sad part about the whole ordeal is homedepot only wanted $350 to do the complete job...

My whole bathroom base cabinets have to be removed. Then they can fix the problem. Seal the area nice and tight. Then, reinstall everything. The plan is because they are taking everything out, my wife wants new different cabinets. They said let them know and they will be able to do all the work in 1 day. Sweet

One of their dehumidifiers did leak (rare but these things have been known to happen to me!) so they discounted the bill accordingly. I brought them back out when we had another smaller leak in the bathroom and knew I could trust the owner and his son at assessing the damage and they were honest that it wasn't that bad and told it to me straight. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who needs honest people to repair damage.
