I went in today not one seat available in a waiting room of 30 or more chairs. Now that people are traveling from Quitman and neighboring cities for the service. They are impacting the quality themselves. The office has had to request more information on coverage. That tells me a large majority of people paying them a visit are not adequately covered which may be the reason why they are willing to travel so far. The practice was fine before all of the surrounding cities started to descend on it.

COVID-19 is alive and thriving in Lowndes county!…read more My appointment was scheduled at 0930 and when I entered the lobby it appeared that many of those in the waiting room were not wearing mask or any sort of protection from the virus. As I approached the receptionist I also noted that she and other staff members were also not wearing mask. That did it for me and I was out of there. It seemed that these people were not even vaguely aware that this pandemic is ongoing and will continue until we all mask up and get vaccinated.

I called 3x, went by the pharmacy 4x, and finally went in person back to Affinity Pediatrics. Asked for the Office Manager and she basically gave excuses and blamed the pharmacy. For Scarlett to be a manager, it shows anyone can be hired. Wait time is ridiculous and unacceptable. You book an appointment with a certain provider and then you get a reminder of an appointment with someone completely different with no notification of the change.

We saw the nurse practitioner, Tori, during our most recent visit and she too was excellent. Also took her time with us answering all our questions. What I really appreciated was the fact that we received a call to let us know Dr. Hugger was running late and we could either schedule a later time that morning or see the NP. I appreciated the transparent courtesy call instead of having us arrive and wait or telling us once we'd made the drive out there.
