They also parked the car in 2nd gear, downhill without using the E-break which lead to injuries to an adult and a minor. My husband was in an accident. A-1 Towing was called to tow his vehicle, which was totaled in the…read moreaccident. They charged $95/day for storing the car until we could figure out what to do. The car was held for five days at $95/day. According to MapQuest, it is 18 miles from A-1 Towing to Winston - near where the accident occurred. We were charged 33.5 miles - 2 ways, $525 for all the towing fees. It cost us a total of $1000 for towing and storing the vehicle for five days. We had to purchase another car to replace the one that was totaled, ensure my husband recovered from the accident, and also pay high fees for towing and storage.

They did address a minor other issue (removing a front hitch) I'd told them about at no charge and I want to acknowledge that but it was a distant second to the priority work. The next week I had a subsequent appointment to have an issue on a separate car fixed and they hadn't been able to track down the part that entire day. I'd been specific about what it needed in advance. All in all. I didn't feel listened to when I described what I needed, and two days were wasted. I did find the staff there to be courteous and professional in all instances. However, I wanted to try this place out just in case I needed something fixed and my longtime preferred mechanic wasn't available, and I won't be going back.
