My only concern was that after she came back from this place my dog shed hair like crazy ! For 3 months she shed hair to the point that she got few bold spots here and there. I read in the internet that dogs go through this when they are subjected to stressful or traumatizing situations, the other only other thing I can think of is the quality of the products used on my dog..... Nothing out of the routine happened to my dog that I could blame for her losing her hair....... She was not taking medication and she was not sick..... Regardless of what it was, I am never taking my Puppy back there.

Male was rubbing his face I assumed it was hair in eye or in nose. Get home and he is on distress everything closed now could not get him to vet until next day. By morning eye swollen almost shut. Vet says bad cut in his eye from some sort of blade very sharp. Groomer says oh have a picture of girl dog swiping male dog in face on her phone...wow that is some fast photography. Refused to pay the $400 vet bills could not find picture to send....of course. Asked to send the video so we can see nothing happened while they were there. Oh that was recorded over. What a load of crap. Then tell me do not post anything as you will send your lawyer after me. Badly injured my dog, will not show video, will not pay vet bill and then threaten me!! Wow horrible human beings in my opinion. There should be an option for minus 5 stars or OH MY GOD NO!!

The parking lot is a little small but it's in a nice location where you can easily hop over to a coffeeshop or other places while you wait for your pet to get their cuts, etc. done. I liked that the staff in the back (who would be doing the haircut) was the one directly talking to us to get exactly what we wanted. She asked us the right questions, and in great detail. My partner and I had concerns about our dog's nails and they were able to clip them (which gave our little one great relief!). I was very happy with the service and we got exactly what we told her to do for our dog. Overall, it was a very good experience!

When I came in for my cats appt- there was no hello or smile it was just " whos this". Even though there is a chart right in their hands of previous appts- I still get asked what would you like today. So I said the same as last time. After some more rudeness I had drop my cat off and came back an hour later. The girl at the front asked me what I was there for. I was shocked that just an hour before that I had dropped my cat off to her. And after I said I just dropped him off - more attitude. A customer had come in when I was sitting there waiting- and she again gave attitude to another customer. The customer said " hello how are you" and right away the recptionist said " who's this" very rudely. I would be going to another place but unfortunately there are not many places around that will cut cats. I don't want to make them look bad but this has been happening many times now and I feel that if you are dealing with the public- a simple hello and or a smile would be nice. Especially for the price I pay for my cats hair to be cut. The employees that actually work- in the back- are great and keep up the excellent work!

After each appointment, our guy always looks and smells divine. And he knows it, pretty much prancing back to the car! I want to close by acknowledging I have learned that grooming sessions are about more than "cosmetics", they are also about "quality of life". I don't see a lot of these around the city but they seem to have more in the west end. This store was impeccably clean and well organized. The lady saw us admiring the cow toy and let us know that it also came in a sheep as well. They have an extensive selection of premium dog food in dry, wet, and raw food forms! Almost the entire back of the store is a refrigerated case. There are prepared foods that are cooked and uncooked ones. They had bags of just individual parts so you can mix and match, like quail eggs and chicken feet. Everything looked really clean, moreso than most grocery stores lol. They also have a case of really nicely iced baked goods. Some are birthday and some are just for the season. There were summer ones including really cute squirrels and crabs, almost like the really nice iced cookies you see at Starbucks! They also had other doggy party supplies like hats, bandanas, and bow ties with cute prints.
