We have taken our little terrier/doxy mix to others and they did just an ok job (except petsmart...they did a subpar job for sure). Connie paid close attention to details, her love for animals is evident in how she interacts with them, and overall we are very satisfied with the grooming experience. She even called us to ask if we wanted to trim the tail/feet with scissors or clippers instead of winging it and doing whatever she wanted. We will be back! read more

I've been taking my dog Munchkin my Maltipoo- to Connie for years. She does a fantastic job on him. He can be a little cranky as he's gotten older- but Connie is patient and gentle with him. Today was my puppy, Brütus's, second visit to Connie's & I am so elated with not only how he looks but with her establishment. Not only does Connie make me as a dog owner feel comfortable but she does the same for the dogs. When I came to pick up Brütus I noticed dog beds with the cutest little clients occupying the beds...the dogs don't sit all day in crates or kennels, she has puppy play pens setup so they can actually move around and lounge in a doggy bed. I want to start out by saying that Connie is not only a great groomer she is a wonderful person! who truly loves dogs There are lots of groomers out there and I am so happy I walked into her establishment, It was all an accident I was driving to find a different groomer I put in my GPS and it brought me in the parking lot of her grooming spot, I walked in and automatically I felt so comfortable even though she usually takes appts she was able to take in my beautiful lil Shi Tzu pup Maggie for a haircut and bath and it was already 1 in the afternoon, it was meant to be, Maggie's tail was waggling right when we walked in and she not only acknowledged me, she gave Maggie her full attention and right then and there I knew I could trust and rely on Connie taking care of my baby ( Maggie is like my child..I adore her!) Anyone who knows Connie knows she has a fantastic aura about her, she is friendly, a hard worker and knows so much about her business. She also gave me advice about the do's and don'ts about Shi Tzu's. She kept me in the loop on Maggie while she was there getting groomed to re-assure me that Maggie was doing great. When I picked Maggie up, I was happy to see her in a playpen, that was one of my concerns about a kennel and she remembered my concern and didn't think twice about putting her in a playpen, those little things mean a lot. This was Maggie's 2nd time at a groomer she is 4 months, and what a difference from how she treated me and my Maggie, I had a bad experience at Petsmart grooming and I would never go to Petsmart again. Don't let the older looking plaza scare you away! I made at least 10 phone calls looking for a groomer for my very shaggy new dog but didn't like the vibes I was getting over the phone. Then I called Connie and was super happy. Once I got there the plaza was older looking but once inside I fell in love with Connie and her grooming salon! I love the fact that she allows all the dogs to play together and takes her time. She's extremely knowledgeable about dogs and grooming them. I instantly felt comfortable leaving my little black dog. I also love the fact that she doesn't use a drying cage she uses a hand dryer! I came back after 4 hours and had a great smelling, beautifully groomed happy doggy!!
