I love our mobile dog groomer! We've always used our vet for grooming until we discovered Doggie Scrub and Styles. Now I can't imagine, Ginger, our Cocker Spaniel, being groomed by anyone but Kendal. Kendal knows his business. He is friendly, responsible, efficient, remembers Ginger's special requests, and takes very good care of her. Scheduling with Bree is quick and painless. She is very nice and responds effortlessly to our requests. Now scheduling is automatic, every four weeks for us, and Bree always sends out a text reminder the day before. I'm hopping on the band wagon with this review. The other reviewers are spot on. Kendall and Bree provide top dog service. My recent foster dog has a ton of hair. He is also ancient and it is obvious that the losers who dumped him at the pound rarely groomed him. Since he is old and scared, I didn't want to drop him off with a groomer. I wanted someone to stop by our house so that he would spend less time being nervous. Thanks to my fellow Yelpers, I found Doggie Scrub and Styles. Bree answered the phone and was very friendly. She assured me that Kendall would take it slow and easy with this oldie dog, so I went ahead and set an appointment. 24 hours before the appointment, I receive a courtesy text reminder. Nice! Kendall shows up on time and is already a kick. He was instantly fun and wasn't daunted by the huge, matted coat on this senior dog. He even invited me to stick around throughout the grooming. Obviously he isn't afraid to show how he works. I took him up on the offer to be sure that the oldie wasn't too scared. What an amazing grooming trailer! It was clean, climate-controlled, and had everything needed to turn this old, matted dog into a soft, clean, silky coated elder statesman. All this with little fuss for the old dog, too. I don't get my own dog groomed. She has a short, wash-n-wear sort of coat. When I started looking for a groomer for our dog Daisy, I did what most people do, ask around. A few folks recommended the grooming services at a nearby vet. Upon contacting them I would of have to leave her from 8am to 5pm with no exact time of when they would be complete. It seemed like a big time commitment for a little 5lb dog. I noticed the Doggie Scrub and Styles mobile groomer around Irvine a few times and just wrote the number down. Scheduling: very easy. the first appt. I spoke with Bree to discuss prices and services. Later appointments were simply scheduled via email. They always give several options am, pm, weekdays and even weekends. Service: they offer a full grooming service and the quicker, less expensive "tidy-up". Both services have our dog coming back 100% better looking and smelling than before. Pros: every time Kendall the groomer arrives for an appointment he is on-time and well prepared, he remembers the exact style she received last time and give a very detailed cut, the equipment looks professional and clean. The cost is reasonable at around $60. compared to the time involved it would take to drive around, drop off and pick-up. Cons: I would recommend calling ahead for an appt. prior to actually needing the service as they occasionally book a few to several weeks out. read more

I have used Doggie scrub & Styles for the past two years; they are one of the best grooming companies I have ever used. Kendall is always on time, but if he's been held up at a previous client or a little late he will always let us know. You can tell that he loves dogs, and is very gentle with my senior dog. As for the grooming of my two dogs, I have a 12 yr old Pekingese and 5 yr. old Rat terrier, they have different needs yet our groomer knows exactly how to treat each of them. A mobile groomer who picks up the phone and works on Sunday! 2 Groomers showed up at my house this Sunday afternoon; they were enthusiastic, professional, requested that I inspect the trailer to make sure it was acceptable, and obviously love animals. My puppy Trixie is a wiggler (hence her name Trixie wiggles), and they were so patient. Her haircut is magnificent. I did something I regret to my pup so I called around trying to see if I could walk in and get him groomed but all grooming services were either booked for the day or they were about to close soon. I came across Doggie Scrub and Styles and when I called, Angie was super genuine and sweet! She was kind enough to service Bruno about an hour and a half after I called. Her and a friend treated him with such kindness and they taught me so many things! Overall, I can tell that Angie loves doing what she does! Before even considering these people l recommend you read the reviews first, I did the mistake of not doing so. This business is just a SCAM. I paid 120$ to have my dog shaved on 3/06/18. As the lady came by to groom my dog she only shaved the back part and claimed she would return to finish the job so I trusted her and gave them the full 120 after they left it became extremely difficult to get into contact with them as they don't answer the phone if they know who it is. There are several other reviews where the lady says her husband was only minutes away yet they never show up and that's the exact same thing she told me more than 5 times!! I've tried being super calm with these people but I have yet to hear from them and I constantly text and call yet no response. If anyone knows any information as to where they are located or where l can find them please let me know. It's 2 weeks for past due and l can't reach them anywhere as their location is a random house they pin pointed. I need to find these scammers and get my money back read more

We have been 5 year client of Kendall . When Kendall chose to move to Colorado in 2013 , we were disappointed we had a find another groomer, but, we found others groomers but missed Kendall. We we were happy in early in 2014 to have Kendall help again us with our grooming needs for our 4 dogs. However, we started have inconsistency communication from Bree forgetting to schedule us for our dog grooming. We tried to speak with Kendall but Bree would not allow us to speak Kendall directly. Today my wife called to schedule service while we are in Orange County, but Bree communicated to my wife that Bree is the owner and Kendall is just a groomer and has another groomer, and would not book us with Kendall. Bree had a very long winded call to my wife going on and on about that Bree needs to build the business. Clearly Bree is hurting her business by not addressing needs, for long time, Cash paying clients. All we wanted was to have our dogs groomed! My wife was so frustrated by Bree 's attitude and poor customer service that wife said to me that she will not deal with Bree again. My wife highly patient and we never had a problem with Kendall in the 5 years we have had Kendall helping us. I was surprised to learn that my wife removed Doggy scrub from her from her phone contact. My wife and I really like Kendall but my own telephone interaction with Bree have been poor. Frequently Bree is prone to make scheduling mistakes or forgets to put us on Kendall's schedule I hope Kendall reads this review, because we will not work Bree any longer. I have used doggie scrub and styles in the past BUT this was my first experience with Angie. Angie, she was early to our appointment and I was able to give her an update on my pooch. She did a great job grooming him and I am very happy. She let me go in an see her set up and started to groom Koopa (my dog) to make sure I liked the length and let me watch as she started her grooming process. She definitely has a heart for dogs and their well being and is very gentle and careful and comforting. She definitely loves was she does and doesn't only do it for the business and money but because she cares and is passionate about her craft. In these types of services getting to know the individual and their means is very important and she gave me all of that. She has a wonderful story and I couldn't be happier and trust her enough with my pooch (this is a rare situation). I definitely recommend her services and will continue to use her. I am absolutely disappointed by this business and would never advise anyone to call them. I was desperate since we were bringing home a 7 week puppy unexpectedly. Our older dog has caught a few fleas from the dog park and I was worried about the puppy catching them. I called Angie and Greg and they picked up right away. Said that they aren't available but after hearing me out said that they hate to turn down a customer and said they are headed to a wedding and won't be back till 8 if that's okay. At 8:30 they called and said they wont be able to come to me till after 9, I was desperate so I said okay. 9:30 I call and text and no response. Then 9:55 she texts and says Greg is still 40 mins out. What the heck?? And apologized and said if it's too late we can come tomorrow morning complimentary. This morning I don't hear from them, I call and text at 8, then 8:10 and no response. Now it's an hour later and I still have yet to hear from them. I was really depending on it and would have appreciated their communication to be better. Would never recommend anyone to them and hope that they seriously learn how to do business. read more

I don't even know where to start. First, my dogs look lovely. Second, the whole process took an hour, and Kendall and Jordan are really nice guys. Now for the heavy part. I had to cancel an appointment for our third dog, a 13-year-old Lab/Dalmatian mix that had just joined our pack. She passed away Tuesday night, most likely from heart failure. I was crushed, and I had only been taking care of Angel for a short while. Bree from Doggie Scrub & Styles made me feel better, and said all the right things, things only a true dog lover would say. But that's not it. She asked me to send her a picture of Angel, and she posted it on their Facebook page. I mean, really? How amazingly sweet is that? But wait, there's more. She sent me a sympathy card with an equally sweet note. Losing a dog is hard, even if you have only loved them for a short time, and Bree made it hurt a little less. Oh my goodness what an awesome experience! My cocker spaniel does not like going the groomer. My baby would stress so much he would have accidents. Kendall allowed me to come into the trailer while my dog was being groomed. He was a lot calmer than what the other groomer had always said. The service my little guy got was priceless. Kendal was very professional and he mannerisms shows he cares and loves his clients. We have out of town guests coming in June so will be scheduling a bath and tidy up for then. Angie and Greg were great! I was a little scared because my puppy is such a skiddish dog - very weary around strangers (took him a good month to warm up to me). To my surprise, the experience turned out well. I was expecting it to be a pretty bad experience - him snapping and biting the entire time. But, he was pretty calm. Don't get me wrong, my puppy did not like getting bathed or the blower but that's normal for most dogs. Angie was so kind and gentle with my dog that he was pretty calm and relaxed, especially towards the end. He didn't even mind the toe nail clipping. I am super super impressed with the level of customer service that was provided. There had been a error in scheduling but they were extremely apologetic and offered us a free groom. They came on time and my dog, Kobe, looks and smells amazing. They took their time getting to know kobe and making sure he was comfortable. We are so grateful for having found Kendal and Bree. Our furry family member was in desperate need of grooming. We recently lost our prior groomer and in waiting for his return our Shadow went 6 months without a groom. We researched and reached out to several groomers for help. Angie and Greg were wonderful! Like everyone else said, it's very obvious how much they care about animals! We have 3 large dogs (two shepherds and a black lab), and I knew it would be difficult to get all 3 to the groomers. A mobile salon was the best solution. All three dogs got bathed and cleaned up, and two of the 3 got shaved, and we all couldn't be happier! No more dog hair on our clothes, and the dogs are quite obviously much happier. Angie and Greg were incredibly accommodating, very genuinely kind people, and made sure that all 3 of our dogs looked great. Angi & Greg just left my house about 45 minutes ago. My Miss Maggie Mae, a purebred Irish Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, has had the best cut *EVER* by Angi. Maggie is a long hair. I shared that I wanted to keep the longer hair, but trim it up. I also said I wanted her hair out of her eyes, but not a teddy bear cut because it makes her facial hair short while the rest of her hair is long, creating an uneven look. Angi was with Maggie over an hour and it was worth every minute! She looks fantastic! I let Angi know this was the best cut Maggie Mae has ever had. While Maggie was being groomed, I got a chance to chat with Greg a bit. He's a humble and friendly man. He's so proud of Angi, and it shows. He asked me to complete a reminder card and shared a little about the history of their mobile grooming business. He is a non-pushy, yet business minded, sales advocate for the business. I called Doggie Scrubs and Styles for our 18 year old Roxy. I didn't want to stress her out by bringing her in and leaving her at a shop. Angie and Greg came to the house within hours of my call and did a fantastic job! She received a medicated bath, ear and teeth cleaning, de shedding and had her nails clipped. Angie came to cut my dogs' hair. She gave me a 2nd dog discount, but rushed through the 2nd dog because she was late for other appointments, and so the cut was uneven. After I paid her and had a closer look, I realized and called her. She first tried to explained to me that it was because my dog hair was uneven to begin with and that she'd make it more even in the next hair cut. I don't believe that's true because the longer hair was sticking out which means she didn't go through the clipper carefully. She then told me she'd come the next day to fix it because customer service was important to her, but then she never showed up, even after I tried to call and text her several times. To me, this is really bad service. I'd have given her $$ for coming back to fix it. They said a lot of nice things, but they don't follow through. Now they are radio silent. I would not use their services in the future. read more
