After staying here for couple of nights, we came back here again to stay later on our trip. It was that good. Place is super clean. I'd say one of the cleanest cottage I've ever stayed, period. Kitchen - spotless, bathroom, spotless, floor and table, beds and towels - all nice and clean, and well stocked. The front desk lady - Margaret was very helpful and personable. We stayed for couple of nights, drove up north for couple of days and came back to stay here again. We left some items in the fridge when we checked out, and she saved all the stuff in our fridge until we came back. We were really surprised by her hospitality and kindness (milk and butter there was quite expensive in Newfoundland!) Room was very big, spacious and comfortable. We stayed at cottage #9 (studio) and that was more than big enough for 2 people. Cottage #6 was 1 bedroom and it was actually too big for 2 of us. It had a gas fireplace and way on the back so really quiet. My husband had tears in his eyes when he found 2 beer mugs in the freezer :) I'd recommend this place for anyone - couple, family or singles. It is a very comfortable and clean place to stay with personality and hospitality. A very short walk (1 minutes) to the town to eat or shop and easy access to the highway.

While the service is somewhat more informal, the entire waitstaff was helpful, kind, and very engaging. I was particularly impressed with the perfect preparation of every single seafood dish. It is a surprising finding and my favourite restaurant during my recent trip to the west coast of Newfoundland. I liked it so much that I visited here twice during my short trip here. We had two dinners here and tried majorities of the items on their menu. On both days, the servers were very efficient and friendly. They don't offer a long menu, yet the chef is showcasing the confidence and perfect cooking technique on every dish served to the table. There's not a single dish that's not delicious for the items we've tried. - Bread and butter: We fight for it. - Goat cheese salad: flavourful creamy sauce mixed really well with the refreshing lettuce and radish, nicely presented - Seafood chowder: Sufficient amount of lobsters. The fresh seafood taste really melt well in the soup. I enjoyed it so much. - Crab cakes: It comes with two crab cakes. So fresh and soft inside and crispy outside. Another perfectly cooked dish. - Moose samosa: Interesting combination of local food ingredients and Indian cuisine. - Slow braised beef: The sauce is very tasty and beef is also braised really well. Easy to chew. - Lobster linguine: It is so delicious with large amount of lobsters and cheese. We have to order extra. - Chicken and vegetable linguine: Balanced flavour. - Pan seared cod: we tried both the butter version and the one with tartar sauce. I personally prefer the tartar sauce coz it is more flavourful. The fish is fresh and cooked well. Overall, my favourite dishes are the lobster linguine, the bread, the chowder and the crab cakes. They also provide great value for money for fine dining experience ($50+ per person). I strongly recommend this place to all of you.

The best part of this inn is easily the scenery and the staff. The panoramic views from the hotel rooms and the dining area are absolutely incredible, looking right out over the water. The warmth and hospitality of the hotel staff are a huge reason why this place still gets a very good rating from us. However, on the day we checked in, the entire local area hit a major power outage. Because the hotel does not have a backup generator, we had no electricity, no AC, and had to navigate around with a flashlight. After a long, exhausting day of hiking, the lack of power definitely soured our initial experience. For practical visitor info, guest parking is conveniently located on the backside of the hotel, and a nice breakfast is included with your stay. They also have laundry facilities available for guests, though you will want to keep in mind that there are restricted hours of usage. Overall, it is a lovely base for exploring Gros Morne, but a backup generator would make it a flawless 5-star stay.

Beautiful beach feel:) Good size balcony to relax on and enjoy the view of the water from the front side. The floors were also very nice (first thing I noticed walking in haha) and it just felt very therapeutic and homey. It also looked like there were paddle boarding and canoeing available to rent across the street. I didn't get a chance to do it or look in to it but I saw people out there enjoying themselves. Overall I def recommend this spot in the Norris Point area!!!
