I think Mr Conick was intrigued by the challenge and took me and my case on. I was young had a 7 month old baby when we met and most lawyers didn't want to fight past the "mommy" aspect of my case. Being that if I was healthy enough to have a child and take care of him, there's no way I would be considered disabled. Although, my case was difficult, he never gave up on me through multiple hearings, appeals, the birth of two more children, being evaluated by multiple government doctors, my own doctors, treatments, injections, multiple new medications and what seemed like endless roadblocks. My case went on for years and was even appealed to the Federal Court level and was remanded back to that state level.
