This time…read morewe had a large water oak die after being hit by lightening, and It was in an awkward place - up against a privacy fence in a crowded back corner of our lot. They were able to get their equipment to it and remove the tree without doing any damage to either our, or our neighbor's property. Importantly, they were able to do the job that same week As usual, their crew was fast, courteous, and cleaned up extremely well after the job. Over the years we've hired tree services at least six times, but the last three times have all been with GT Tree Service, their bids have always been low and they have always done an outstanding job. They are a Milton company but they have no problem with coming to our house in West Pensacola.

They were very diligent with their cutting to ensure my property as well as the neighbor's property was not damaged during the process. The work entailed trimming back one oak that was growing into my neighbor's and my power line as well as some overgrowth along the tree and overhang over the driveway. Additionally a large 40 foot oak in the backyard was starting to grow over the house and into the neighbor's yard and we just wanted to avoid any future damage from hurricanes. Gary and his crew were able to climb the large oak in the back and use other large equipment to get into the trees. They were able to haul away all the tree limbs/branches in their large trailer and even swept up and used a power blower to clean up the area. There were a few things that set Gary and his went above and beyond on: - asking throughout the process if I wanted extra limbs cut off and if I was happy with the work. - offering to cut down a rotten stump - offering to cut down small overgrowth around the trees - going back over each cut to ensure that grow back correctly. - teaching about trees and their growth - blowing away any saw dust that landed on my neighbor's cars (happy neighbors make good neighbors) Again, would recommend to anyone who needs tree services in the Pensacola/ Milton/ Pace area and wherever Gary services.

Being a gardener I couldn't resist being it was 4 miles away. Needless to say, I was impressed. They had a wonderful selection of plants, flowering and none, as well as tropical. Plenty to make your garden colorful like the classics: azaleas, hydrangeas, roses etc. and the fragrant with two types of jasmine as well as gardenia. They've got grasses, pots, stones, stepping stones, gifts, fountains, potting soil and even carnivorous plants! Huge ones. I didn't even get into the greenhouse to meander because I found what I was after on my initial stop. The staff were helpful. And we went to the cafe onsite too after collecting our plants. We had iced lattes in the small little cafe and it was cozy and so relaxing in the heat to sip our lattes. They also offer gelato. Perfect if you have kiddos on your shopping adventure. I enjoyed this place quite a lot and expect I'll be back as I grow my garden.

These guys are awesome!!!…read more We needed two large oak trees removed from a confined space in our backyard, and we needed it done within two weeks, due to construction being completed. We received several quotes from different tree companies. They all were unable to complete the job by the time we needed it completed, and most of them said the job, once started, would take them a few days to complete. Sam not only said he could complete the job by the time we needed it, but squeezed us in a week ahead of schedule, AND gave us a better price than the other companies. Sam and his crew showed up exactly when they said they would, and did an outstanding job. Their equipment did not damage our yard, and they left the yard cleaner than before. Oh yeah.... and it only took them six hours to complete the job. Could not be happier with the service we received!!!!

Lack of communication, unfinished job and ghosted. Hired to cut a magnolia in my backyard. Certain…read morelimbs were priced out to cut. He cut, and told me he'd be back the next day to smooth out my yard. After he left I noticed one of the branches he forgot to trim. I mentioned it and he said he would come back and do. The next day he never showed up. I reached out and was told he was already out of town... From there I was a constant, "I'll be there next weekend." Then not show up. "I'll be there tomorrow for sure." And again, not show up. Then he was busy for the holidays. I reached out again a couple days after New Years and he ghosted me. The lack of communication was extremely frustrating. If you're busy, fine but don't tell me you're coming out and never show. MULTIPLE times! The forgotten limb was never cut and yard never smoothed out from the deep crater left in my front yard. They also left their trash (plastic bottles, bags etc) in my fire pit instead of throwing it in trash and took one of my cups I let them use for the drinks I bought them, with them.
