I have many native plants in my garden beds, and they killed so many of them. Also, I caught one of their workers spraying an ENTIRE BUSH with weed killer. I had to nurse it back to health as many leaves and branches were severely damaged. 2. Secondly, they are a predatory company, a "weed" themselves if you will. I paid for one year of service, and then they came back next season because they are an "auto renew company," which is convenient for them, because no one would call them back otherwise. No matter how many times I told them to get lost, they kept coming back, and the only times they actually got onto my property was when I wasn't home. Now they're hounding me for payment and threatening to send me to collections over something like $70. Hilarious. 3. If you do end up paying for services, take solace in the fact that they'll never shut up with the phone calls every week or so begging for upgrades for things like grubs and what not. Nah, how about you try to do the one job I paid you for first? Just a clown show of a company all around. Terrible service, terrible outcomes. They said "we'll get your lawn looking like a golf course." It still looks like it did when you first started last year, which is why I didn't call you back, but good job not doing anything other than making my life miserable! The lawn now is yellow with green stripes in random patterns running through the yellow grass. Every time we called (4 times), they said someone would call in 5-7 days. They did not call back and when we called again, we were told someone would call in 5-7days. Finally we were sent a text message that a technician would come to look at the lawn this past Monday. We waited the entire day and finally called them at 3:00 PM. We were told that Mark had been to our house at 11 am (we spent the day in the front yard and on the front porch watching for them). They determined that the lawn had been treated with a broken spreader and that Mark would call to arrange to have the lawn re-treated. No one came to our house on Monday and it is now Thursday and no one has called or contacted us. Their guarantee says that they follow up on issues in a timely fashion. Six weeks of ugly lawn is not following up in a timely fashion. Anyone considering this company should be warned that that they too could have their lawn destroyed by these people.

That my lawn is so green and clear as we head into winter is a huge improvement over previous years. Jeff Sajovie Jr. grew up in the landscaping business and really knows how to get the best results. We hired 131 not only for grass cutting, but for weed control, mulching, aerating, reseeding and plant trimming. Jeff is a perfectionist. He never left our yard until everything was perfect. 131 is not the cheapest lawn service out there, but his pricing is fair. You get what you pay for.
