2025 Nissan Kicks

Just a couple of months ago, while driving from Houston to Austin, parts of my brand new 2025 Nissan Kicks' exterior literally flew off on the highway. I was shocked and scared for my safety. I pulled over, picked up the part from the road, and took the car to Nissan of Cedar Park, where they initially told me the parts were likely under recall. I never heard back from them. After following up myself, I was told the VIN wasn't under any recall, yet the exterior pieces were clearly defective -- they were no longer attached to the car. I then contacted Nissan customer service, who assured me they would investigate and support me under the factory warranty. Over three weeks passed and I received no follow-up, no call, and no support. Feeling unheard and unsafe, I decided to sell the vehicle myself. I'm sharing this to caution future buyers: Be very careful when dealing with Nissan. The lack of responsibility, poor communication, and disregard for safety were unacceptable. If you're buying a car, especially brand new, double-check everything -- and don't ignore red flags like I did.

I would increase my review by 1 star because this time, the service advisor did not try to mansplain anything to me, but the entire experience doesn't allow it. I only returned because I was offered a free oil change to give them a second chance. I also had a safety recall, so I popped in for both. Turns out they ended up recommending $6K in service repairs and tried to charge me for the oil change. I smartly brought a friend with automotive knowledge (and male) who reviewed their video footage of the repair recommendations so I could confirm if these were necessary ATM. None were, so I was able to drive away. When any of the things they identified actually show up, I will address them, but it will not be here. They actually have a Service Advisor Money Board (see pic) up on a glass office by their desks. It's hard to take their recommendations seriously, knowing they are so shamelessly aiming for money goals. Sorry guys, you lost a wishful $6K because I wasn't foolishly persuaded.

I brought my 2026 Ram 2500 diesel in because the rear ParkSense system suddenly started falsely detecting an object directly behind the truck every time I put it in reverse. The truck immediately beeps and shows an obstacle in the center even when nothing is there. The dealership insisted my receiver hitch was causing the problem. That explanation never made sense because I have owned this truck since November 6th of last year with the exact same hitch setup and had never experienced this issue until recently. The hitch also flips underneath the truck and is not even visible when stored. I repeatedly explained this to Louise, the service director, and even suggested a simple test: install a similar hitch on another new Ram truck to see whether the issue could be recreated. Instead of testing their theory, the dealership continued insisting the hitch was the problem. After picking my truck up, I removed the hitch myself and recorded a video clearly showing that the exact same ParkSense problem still exists even with the hitch completely removed. I sent the video directly to Louise, and I still have not received a response. At that point, rather than acknowledging the possibility of a faulty sensor, moisture intrusion, software issue, or an incomplete diagnosis, I was essentially told to lose their number and take my vehicle somewhere else because they did not want to continue discussing the issue. What makes this even more disappointing is that I have purchased four vehicles from this dealership over the years. I previously removed another negative review after Louise helped resolve a separate issue following the sale of this truck. I genuinely gave this dealership another opportunity because of that prior experience. Unfortunately, this situation was handled very differently. Instead of receiving a professional diagnosis and reasonable customer service, I was dismissed, blamed for the issue, and ultimately forced to seek service elsewhere after proving their original diagnosis was incorrect. I expected significantly better treatment and professionalism from a dealership that has earned this much of my business over the years. After this experience, I will not be returning.

STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS POSSIBLE!!!…read more I purchased a 2023 vehicle from this dealership for $17,500. The car seemed fine, and I thought I was getting a decent deal. That turned out to be a huge mistake. Less than a month later, the vehicle broke down and was leaking oil everywhere. I had it towed back to their service department, where I was told the high-pressure fuel pump had failed and that my warranty would cover the repair. A week later, the story changed. Now they claimed a bolt holding the fuel pump in place was broken and that they would need to lower the engine to remove it. Conveniently, that repair was not covered under warranty. When I questioned whether the bolt could have been broken during their own repair attempt, I was basically told to "take their word for it" that they didn't do it. They had no proof whatsoever. In the end, I was forced to pay another $3,300 out of pocket for what they called a "discounted" labor charge. After another week, they called and said the vehicle was ready. I picked it up and drove away. Less than five miles later, the check engine light came on. I immediately brought it back. Now, suddenly, I'm being told I need a catalytic converter and another $1,800 repair that also isn't covered. Funny how there were no catalytic converter codes, no check engine lights, and no issues before they had possession of the vehicle for weeks. But somehow, after thousands of dollars in repairs and less than five miles of driving, a completely different major repair is now needed. What makes it even worse is that throughout this entire process, I was repeatedly reminded that if I had purchased the extended warranty they were trying to sell me, I wouldn't have had to pay these costs. It felt less like customer service and more like a sales pitch after the fact. This dealership is great at selling cars. Unfortunately, that's where the positive experience ends. The service department has been the most frustrating, expensive, and disappointing experience I've ever had with a vehicle purchase. Thousands of dollars later, I still don't have confidence in the car, and all I seem to get in return is another repair bill and an apology for the inconvenience.

Back in 2010, I wrote, "To be honest, I would rather have a tooth pulled than deal with a used car salesman." Well, at Apple, there is no tooth pulling! There's no high-pressure sales approach here. Every vehicle on their lot is high-end, clean, and mechanically sound. They offer fair trade-in values, include a free drivetrain warranty, and provide a very reasonably priced extended warranty plan. Best of all, they don't tack on any of those unnecessary add-ons you often see at other dealerships. On this most recent visit, I worked with Corey (sales) and Mike (sales manager), and it was by far the easiest car-buying experience I've ever had. I received a very fair offer for my trade-in and even secured a loan rate better than what my credit union offered, which surprised me. Bailey (finance) made the paperwork process smooth and stress-free, and she offered an extended warranty at a price I felt was more than fair. Pro tip: Check out their inventory, but be aware it tends to move quickly, so contact them online to verify that the new-to-you vehicle is still available.

And advised me that I can pay it and they could do it but it could cause a bigger problem that would cost me $3500 if so. I told them just change the battery and took it straight to Apple Imports. I don't want to butcher the service guy name it's Aaron or Erin. But he's a genius! He knew exactly who I was every time i called, kept me updated on everything that they did, and even figured out the programming that BMW apparently screwed up! And didn't charge me anything additional! His genuine care to get my car fixed was amazing to me! I highly recommend this place to anyone. From the moment I found the exact make and model I was dreaming of on their website, I knew I had to act fast. Calling them up, I was immediately greeted by Duane, whose friendliness and personable approach instantly put me at ease. This being my first time buying from a dealership, I had my reservations, but Duane made the entire process feel straightforward and honest. What heightened my sense of urgency was hearing through the grapevine that someone else was interested in the same vehicle but wasn't ready to make the purchase. Knowing this, I felt an immediate push to secure the vehicle that very day. This sense of competition added an extra layer of excitement and determination to my car buying journey. The excitement to see the car in person drove me to make a 40-minute trip north, and it was worth every second. Upon arrival, my decision was cemented - I had to have that car that day. What impressed me the most was the transparency with which Duane presented my financing options, a refreshing change from the usual sales tactics. During the inevitable wait for bank feedback, Janie's thoughtfulness in offering snacks and water was a small but significant gesture that made the experience more comfortable. Then, Juan took over to discuss the next steps, insurance, and warranty details with such clarity and openness, it reassured me I was making the right decision. Despite the dealership nearing closing time, and my needing to manage logistical hurdles to drop off my mom's car and return, Janie and Juan assured me they'd wait, no matter how long it took. This level of commitment and understanding from a dealership was unexpected and deeply appreciated. My mom, too, was delighted by the kindness and professionalism shown by Janie over the phone. Finalizing the paperwork was smooth, filled with friendly banter and laughter with Juan, marking a perfect end to the day. I can't express enough gratitude towards Apple Leasing for their genuine approach, making sure their customers are not only satisfied but also well-informed and comfortable throughout the entire process. Their willingness to go the extra mile, ensuring we didn't have to juggle multiple cars home, was the cherry on top of an already fantastic experience. This was by far the most comfortable and reassuring dealership experience I've ever had. It's why I've never made a purchase until now, as most dealerships in the past seemed shady. I highly recommend Apple Lease Returns to anyone looking for a seamless, honest car buying journey. I'm over the moon with my Q50 and only wish I could personally thank everyone at the dealership one more time for their incredible service and support.

They didn't even test drive it initially because of construction near the dealership? WTF. I work 24 hour shifts and my wife had to rent a car and drive 200 miles to Austin and made it to Waco before the exact same problem started again. Thank goodness it was at least in a town. Once again we had to have it towed but this time to a hopefully competent dealership with Sewell in McKinney. This vehicle has had all routine servicing and has 66k miles so this issue is clearly on Audi, not owner neglect.
