In all the years of purchasing a vehicle this was probably by far the worst I've ever dealt with. I had purchased a 2002 corvette for around 30k...the condition that I had received it in made me really question the integrity of the salesman and the service team. First off I was promised a washed vehicle...it was super dirty when I received it however they did vacuum the car at least. When I received the vehicle I had noticed the following issues: - the vehicle was sold without a catalytic converter, which is illegal - it goes against the Texas clean air act - the driver side blinker was out - the passenger side runner light was out - reverse light was out - gas cap was bad - verified by a 3rd party inspector - windshield wipers were bad - verified by a 3rd party inspector - a aftermarket idler pulley was removed after I had purchased the vehicle and was never notified. Supposedly it had a bad bearing and was removed due to "safety issues" - if that was really the case then why are you allowing folks to test drive the vehicle in the first place? - 2nd gear went out after a week of owning the vehicle although since this is an older vehicle I can't entirely put the blame on the dealership for this issue - noticed electrical issues when using the left blinker as it caused the vehicle to die when using it With all of these issues I had to question if they even did a vehicle inspection! After seeing all of these issues after having the vehicle for only a few days it was apparent that I should get my money back. When talking to Julian Rodriguez about the situation I was only met with hostility and disrespect who basically told me "You will not get your money back", which he doesn't even have the authority to make that decision. He was probably the worst salesperson I've ever done business with...literally don't understand how he even has a job. At the end of the day I ended up having to talk with the General Manager who did give me my money back and did hear me out, which was probably the only nice thing that happened through out my whole experience at this dealership. In my honest unbiased opinion I truly believe that people should stay far away from this dealership. read more

Don't buy electric car from them if you are excited about the support and after purchase services they provide. When I bought my electric vehicle they told me the charger at Nissan is free and it's always available. However it was not true and it charges you. That is still no problem but alway they put cars that is not even charging in the spots or gas cars to make sure nobody can use charger even with paying. Since Friday this is the situation at charger. On Saturday night they changed the cars to all 3 ev but before it there was 2 ev and one regular car. read more

Had a good experience. My main complaint which has me VERY upset was that they MAKE you pay for this protection package floor mats, wheel locks, tint, and other stuff. I'm cool with some of it. But I didn't want floor mats.. or the insanely priced nitrogen in the tires. I asked if I could not get those certain items, they said NO every new car gets it no matter what. So I agreed. Here is what pisses me off. I go to pick the car up.. and guess what. I payed the $350 dollars for floor mats, which only cost $189 for front and back seat floor mats at weathertech website and the dealership DOESNT EVEN HAVE THEM IN STOCK I will have to go all the way to the dealership again to get them installed. No date on when they will be coming in stock or anything like that. And the guy didn't tell me that until AFTER we did all the paper work. An item I was told I HAVE to pay for that I DIDN'T want in the first place. Could have easily just took them off the price when we did the paperwork. One star. I own a car from there. I had a terrible experience with them after purchasing my car. I would never recommend that dealer, Cedar Park Nissan, to anyone. Don't get any service work done there, either. Their service department is terrible. I got home and realized my important fluids were very low. $30 and I filled them, not a problem but now I know I cannot trust them. So I worry, what else did I get lied to about. I brought my 2017 Nisson Rogue with 70k miles in to check and see if I needed anything fixed prior to heading on a road trip. I was given a 4,000 repair estimate and offered 7,850 for my car. That seemed unethical since not too long ago there was nothing but possible fluid replacements. I got estimates from other auto repair companies, all which came in about 25% to 30% of Nissan's estimate on the repairs. I asked a friend who works as a mechanic to look over my estimate. He looked behind my tires at the arms and said that they are a little worn but not in need of replacement. It will probably be needed around 150k. This was marked as "SAFETY CONCERN" on my estimate. Nissan dealerships have an honesty and transparency guarantee sign on the wall. So far, I haven't witnessed either. This is first Nissan (switching from Toyota) and this will be my last. But no, I'm not selling my car at below bottom dollar when it's in really great condition. This has been the worst experience I've had with a manufacturer, out of both foreign and domestic brands. read more

Bought a used truck from them. On the way home I noticed noise at highway speed at first I just thought it was tire noise. Later I noticed that the noise stopped when turning contacted them asking if they would take a look at it. They said they would when I went back for touch up paint. Was contacted a few days later for the paint told them I'll live with the paint but could u take a look at the sound. I was ghosted..... I had an 11am appointment for a test drive. I made the appointment the morning of the test drive. When I arrived, the lady who scheduled test drive said she was busy and handed me to another gentleman who had no idea why I was there. He eventually figured out which car I was scheduled to drive only to inform me that somebody had placed a deposit on it and that I couldn't test drive it. He apologized and said the lady was new and didn't know what she was doing. What waste of time as I only drove to the suburb to test drive one specific vehicle. Historically this service department has been reliable. However our most recent experience has been awful. We dropped our car off at noon on Thursday. Was told at 2 the starter needed to be replaced but had to order part. No update Friday or Saturday. We called at noon today and the part still isn't there. Seriously! How long does it take to get a starter? They have no cars for us to use while we wait and so we are stuck with no car. Beyond frustrating! I will be buying a Toyota next time. I don't think anyone really enjoys buying a car, but my sales rep Alex made the experience relatively painless. There was haggling to be had for sure, but I never felt like I was getting duped and he was pretty transparent with me throughout. They even agreed to repair some minor body damage on the vehicle as part of the purchase agreement, and Alex kept me updated throughout the process and they got the vehicle to me 2 days before their initial estimate. I've only had the vehicle half a day so far, but everything is working as expected and that's easing the pain in my wallet. If that changes anytime soon I'll be sure to put an update here. read more

Took my 2017 Maxima in on 5/9 for an oil change. On 5/15, the car was smoking and the engine seized up. Upon looking at the dipstick there was no oil in the car. Clearly there was an error on the service dept side yet instead of being honest, they wanted to act like it's our fault! Scheduled an 8am appointment to have my car serviced. Showed up and my scheduled time and was told that it would be 4-5 days before they would be able to LOOK at my vehicle. I asked why I wsa allowed to schedule an appointment for today if they couldnt even look at my car for 4-5 days. I was told it was to "get me in the que." I told them that I scheduled the appointment and took off work today to get this taken care of. they could have cared less. I spoke with the Service MAnager and he didnt seem to care either. Said that there was nothing he could do. I asked why I was allowed to schedule an appointment if they werent going to be able to even look at it for 4-5 days. Had the same issue about a month ago with a basic oil change. I scheduled an appointment and it took 4 hours to get the oil changed. They kept saying that they were short staffed due to the pandemic. I was honestly satisfied with this location until just recently. I only gave it one star because I had to give a rating. I went in to have the Texas Climate Package service. As I am waiting I receive a text that my control arm bushings were in the red and needed to be changed real soon which was going to cost over $1,700. When I asked what would be the cause of that going out the service guy said it was due to wear and tear. Keep in mind my car is barely four years old and has just over 60,000 miles. I also work from home full time and use the car to take my kid to school and go to H‑E‑B. Red flag with this conversation so I went to get a second opinion. Got an appointment at a reputable place in the area without telling them anything and asked for an alignment to see what they would find. My alignment was off and all that needed to be adjusted were the tows. (The alignment was supposedly done two days prior at CP Nissan.) When I asked if the control arm bushings were checked they said yes that's the first thing they check and those were fine. Only cost me $100 instead of almost $2,000. Then to top off my entire experience, a day later I get a notification from Capital One that someone placed an online order at the Leander Lowes #00907 for almost $1,000. This was the same credit card that I handed to the service manager whom will remain anonymous because I am a nice person. Needless to say, I won't be going back. read more

It's been one year since I've purchased my paper weight - I mean Chevy Equinox - from these snake oil salesmen. I can confidently recommend all first time car buys DO NOT SHOP HERE. I explained my situation to the salesmen: I was a first time car buyer looking for a reliable used car to replace my dying 13 year old Hyundai. 3 grueling hours later I leave, dazed by the paperwork I signed, which was unexplained to me. I was just happy to finally have a working car. A month later, the "new" battery died. When I called CP Nissan I was told "well, when we tested it, it was fine. Batteries sometimes die." So I paid $120 to replace it. A month later, the check engine light came on, for several reasons. The first was for the secondary air injection pump. I was told that this would be a $500 fix and since it wasn't essential for the car to run, they would not fix this. The second was for a broken cam shaft phaser, which I paid roughly $350 to fix. A month later, the car began to die while I was DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. This happened at least three times so I took it back to CP Nissan. As I parked in their parking lot, the timing belt broke. After almost a week of negotiating, I was able to momentarily make them admit their negligence and the paid for the repairs. They (Former GM Joe Adams) suggested they would try to put me into a different car (at a huge loss to me), but I was never given choices or the opportunity. Now, a year from purchasing and not even 9 months since the timing kit repairs, it has broken again, this time causing irreversible damage to the engine. In all, the repairs will cost close to $5,000, effective totaling my car. My only options are to buy a new engine for it or default on my loan and send it back to the Cedar Park Nissan parking lot as a cautionary tale to any potential customers: LEMONS ARE SOLD HERE. Zero or negative star is not an option. They actually deserve "-5". 1 star is 6 too many. Couple of days ago, I stopped by at Cedar Park Nissan. I wanted to see and test drive the new Z car. The sales rep Callans, Christian said they don't have any in stock but one was scheduled to arrive soon. He took my info. Last Friday, on Dec 01, he texted and emailed me that he has one in stock and when can I go to check it out. I did not confirm with him. but since the dealership is very close to my house (less than 2 miles) and it was on my way to Costco, I stopped by this morning. Christian was not there. So I asked one other sales rep if I could test drive. He said "no". I asked if I could talk to the floor manager. He claimed he is the floor manager. He said I CAN test drive ONLY if we agree on the price and then I buy it and I take it home with a new license plate. When I asked, what if I dont like it, he said, then I will have to sell it. I asked if the dealership will buy it back at the price I paid. He responded, "No, you have to find a buyer"! And that is not the end. Then I asked, if I can sit inside to see how it feels to sit. He said he will have to check with the management. Ok. Then he gets a "manager". This manager tells me he can lower the window and I can enter my head through the window and take a peek. But I can NOT sit in the car. I was furious and left. Did not say anything obscene. From the car, I emailed and texted Callans, Christian. He called me back. But I had to cut the conversation short. Later after my trip to Costco, I thought I can NOT let these so called sales people and mnagers get away this easy. So I stopped by again. I asked that "floor manager" for his business card. He said he does not have any. Then I asked whet is his name. He responded "I am good" twice and declined to say his name. Then I asked for that "manager". I saw him in room with one other gentlaman and another woman. All 3 were behind some counter. I asked that "manager for his buseness card. He said he ran out. Then I asked him his name. He declined to answer. Meanwhile the other gentleman sensed something was wrong. So he asked me what happened and if he could help. While he was talking the problematic "manager" walked away. I asked tthis other gentleman if he was a manager. He said all 3 of them were managers. He said his name was Derek Johnson. The floor managers name was Julian Rodriguez and the problematic managers name was Jon Brown. I can nto verify any of these names as none of them gave me their cards. I asked them who the owner of the dealership is. Mr. Derek Johnson said it is a corporate dealership and there is no owner. I am extremely disappointed with this whole incident. As most Americans , I approach the trade in and purchase process with great trepidation. We had a 2017 Hyundai with pretty low miles and we wanted something comparable and newer, not neccessarily new. I had gotten a trade in value from KBB and we made our stop at this dealership. I viewed the KBB appraisel as a starting point because our car was clean and always garaged. We were introduced to a sales person, Ed Flores. Now, I am used to the slimy, used car sales guy; You know, with the nicotine stained fingers, slightly or greatly overweight with either no hair or slicked back hair, oh, and don't forget the pinky ring. Kind of surprised to meet Ed. He looked like a guy just out of an Ivy League college and he sort of acted like that as well. Seriously, Mr. Flores quickly pointed us to a few cars in the inventory that he correctly saw as potentials for us. The negotiating process was not too lengthly and not unpleasant at all. We wound up with a used Nissan Rogue with about ten thousand miles less than our trade in and pretty nice. I would definitely reccommend Cedar Park Nissan and Ed Flores as well. read more

The Service Department at Cedar Park Nissan absolutely rocks! We recently purchased an almost-new Nissan from another Nissan dealer in Austin (that is owned by the same company as Cedar Park Nissan). Almost immediately, we had a mysterious electrical problem with the car. The other dealer treated us extremely poorly and rudely - and multiple attempts to diagnose the issue failed - even though the car left us stranded multiple times. Testing revealed no problems. The final time it failed, the car was towed (still with the temporary tags) into the closest dealer - Cedar Park Nissan. Well, the first thing we learned is we should have shopped at Cedar Park Nissan. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, despite us being pretty stressed out at our recent purchase already in the shop. The service team put two days into diagnosing the problem. It turned out to be a rare and hard-to-troubleshoot problem involving the battery - one of the parts not covered by our warranty on our Nissan Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle we just purchased. Since we had just purchased the car, Cedar Park Nissan tried to get the Austin dealer to take care of at least some of the costs. The response? Oops, so sorry, but that's not covered. Too bad. Oh, and we'll drop your license plates and inspection in the mail. After the folks at Cedar Park Nissan broke the bad news to us, they told us to come pick up the car - the battery had been replaced and everything was now fine. When we asked how much, they responded that they were going to do the right thing, even if the Austin dealer wouldn't. No bill for the battery and hours of work they put in. Cedar Park Nissan now has a customer for life - and if you need service on your Nissan or a new Nissan vehicle - this is the place to go and the people you need to deal with.
