I took my laptop in for a repair estimate on because the screen was stuck open--usable but unable…read moreto close. They quoted $355 for the repair, which I declined since it's more than half the cost of a new one. When I picked it up, the screen wouldn't open at all, and the display no longer worked. They claimed it was a preexisting condition. However, I paid a $50 diagnostic fee only to have the computer in worse shape than when I dropped it off. Had I known this could happen, I wouldn't have left it. I'm very disappointed.
