Looked like they did a good job then I noticed some gaps between the tiles and the base of the shower. I called them multiple times with no response. Almost ten days I still haven't use our shower and I probably end up fixing it myself. You been warned. Update: after less than 3 years I noticed last summer that the tiles were caving in. Our shower was good to begin with just needed to be clean the grout lines. Over time the water sip through the grout and eventually rotting the Durock behind it. Luis supposedly cleaned the grout and replaced 15 tiles in our kitchen. Within a week the grout started coming out in chunks! Now we have many areas of large chunks of grout missing down to the subfloor. He also cut a piece too short and now there's a gap at the transition between kitchen and entranceway. He didn't even bother to cut a new piece. Just left it 1/2 too short. Numerous calls later, we got no return call and now have to replace an ENTIRE kitchen floor due to his negligence. BEWARE! DO NOT USE OR CALL GROUT KING! We had a scheduled appointment and they never showed up. They said they didn't have us in the book. We scheduled the appointment three weeks ago, after they came out to give us an estimate. They offered to come out two days later. The morning of, they emailed me and said they didn't get the color grout in. We ordered WHITE! They never once called me to apologize for either issues. Just an email saying sorry. I hired Louis at Grout King to clean and change the color of my grout on my bathroom floor. The initial consultation he was very professional, punctual and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately the day after he completed the work I noticed that they were gaps in the tiles on the floor. I made several attempts to contact him to rectify this issue but to date he has yet to return my call. I was extremely disappointed and would never use him again in the future. read more

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! If I could give 0 stars I would!!! They redid the grout in my inlaws bathroom and it looks like a 5year old did it. It is so messy and they scratched up the existing tile horribly. When called on their terrible job they just offered to minus the cost of the grout work if my inlaws decided to pay to redo the whole shower. WHAT?! The owner Lewis and his helper did a real nice job refreshing my 2 tile bathrooms and slate foyer. The steam cleaning made me happy that nothing was being trapped under the new layer of grout. They were on time for their appointment and Maryann set it all up nicely. If I were to do it again, I would ask for a standard grout color available at any store such as Lowes. I did not realize that a few tiles were unstable due to issues with the sub-flooring and some grout cracked up, which they were nice enough to correct later. I would ask them to let you know if any of your tile has that concern-they can tell by tapping on it and listening for a hollow sound or movement of the tile. I recommend them with that stipulation. met lewis at the valley forge home show. seemed profestional. came to our house, dumped 2 guys and supplies out of a car. not a truck or van, you know something with a company logo on it. resurfaced our tub. 3 days later when we were suppose to be able to use it, we found sticky spots and ruff spots. called lewis , he returned the call,then never showed up. never called back again . how is he suppose to honor his 1 year warranty? hope no one else uses his service cause he's no good read more

Do not use Grout King Sewell Nj!! These guys are a joke. This has been the worse disaster ever! Hired to do grout cleaning in our walkin shower (newly purchased fixer upper home) he stated that he does all types of jobs including flooring. So we hired him to do that too. (The jobs were done simultaneously) he did an awful job in the kitchen, we were horrified at how uneven the tiles were. The tiles were not straight and was lifted. We brought that to his attention and he ask that we mark the ones needed to be redone...needless to say the whole kitchen needed to be redone. Once the floor was broken to be redone I noticed there was no hardy/backer board on floor!! He stated that he will put it in the 2nd time around!!! (Seemed like a blessing being that we didn't know he didn't install the first time.) Walk-in shower is a disaster!!! Looks like an 8 year old did the work! The doors he installed is slanted and the sealed looks like kids pressed down on it to see their finger prints!! Completely unacceptable!! The guys which were hired by kewis didn't know a bit of English, so it was hard to communicate with them, so asking questions was a lost. These guys decided to mix the kitchen mortar in our newly painted living room. The guy removed the mixing tool while it was still running and splatter mortar all over walls and ceiling which we noticed the next day so it had already hardened! When I questioned him (lewis) about that disaster he acted like it was funny and asked me what I wanted him to do about it?! Really?! I thought these guys were professionals being as though they had a booth at the Home Show. I wish I'd looked them up instead of assuming. So unless you want to throw money out the window don't use these guys! Really! Not worth the stress!! I wish I didn't have to give a star not worth that 1! read more

What a find! My bathroom floors were "classic" and cruddy. Grout King made them sparkle like new with new grout - at a really reasonable price. On time, neat, clean, professional. Unfortunately, Grout King was not able to resolve my problem. The great thing about Luis is that he told me the TRUTH! Luis told me that he could dig out the old chaulking and rechaulk my tub but could not promise that the mold would not come back. I know that there are contractors that would promise me that they could fix my mold problem and then when it came back would turn a deaf ear. I would definitely use Grout King and Luis if the occasion ever presented itself and I would definitely recommend them to others. read more

Louis re-glazed my tub in the hall bathroom. I had to call him back to clean up because there was overspray everywhere. To be honest, he was very responsive and came back to clean up. After that, though, when I was putting everything back together (after the required 48 hours had passed), I noticed that the actual glazing job was a mess. There were some rough patches, where I know it will start to peel. Also, along the inside tub wall, the entire side is one line of dripping glaze. It looks like a bad paint job where you put too much paint on the wall and it drips. It looks like an amateur job. I called Louis to tell him about it. That was a week ago and I have not heard from him. I have been blown off. The only thing that would satisfy me now is a complete refund since I now have to call someone else to come in and re-do this. DON'T use Grout King for reglazing. And I never do business with owners who don't return calls, especially after they have done such poor work. read more
