This contractor was hired by our neighbors homeowners insurance to move our fence line to reflect a…read morenew survey.Mr. Sweeney attempted to cut every corner even though the legal agreement stated that the fence was to be as good as or better than before.His workers had to move the posts twice after my discussions w/ Sweeney about the agreement,the posts weren't on the new line.Then, they were buried a foot less, and he tried to use inferrior wire. One of the corners crosses a ditch and Sweeney refused to place a steel post in concrete as it was before.Because of this the wire is hanging loosely and the corner isn't connected as a proper corner should be.I will have to repair this myself to keep cattle from getting out.The worst part was the SOUR attitude Sweeney took with me and how he could only talk about how he was losing money on the job!

We hired Darryl for a construction job because he lived down the street from us and a neighbor said…read morethey were hiring him to do a large remodel job on their house as well. Darryl had a couple guys working on the job for him and he would show up for a few minutes each day, which is fine- until it wasn't. The workers were extremely slow (some on drugs!) and Darryl was supposed to be my point of contact, however he never knew what was going on. He would argue with me and even with his own guys about work that was or wasn't being done. Darryl left for vacation and nothing got done while he was gone. We asked for a meeting so that we could find out where our job was at and he showed up fists clenched and yelling! From that point on things went downhill fast. Darryl became extremely passive aggressive and the work got worse and worse. Long story short- our job took three times longer than it should have, we were given a bill that was three times more than it was quoted and were told that that is normal and we should have planned on it tripling "because that's normal for construction"- even though nothing was ever said about overages. He demanded payment within full within 24 hours and threatened to place a lien on our home. The job was only 3/4 of the way finished at this point! We had to fire Darryl and his company and hire multiple contractors to come in and fix shorty work and finish so that we could have a functioning home again. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Spoke to my neighbor and they had a similar experience- their bill also tripled- for no reason!

We didn't realize the foundation to our deck did not meet code when it was constructed 30 years…read moreago. The support beams and joist were not treated and had rotted from underneath when we called Norman Pratt to replace deck boards. Norman and Nathan replaced the complete deck. Couldn't be happier with the AZEK composite deck they built. They also put in a concrete patio where the deck was in contact with the ground. The quality of work is excellent and they went way above what we expected in terms of paying attention to every detail, being very professional and keeping the site clean. They came back after they were actually finished and scrubbed the deck down by hand, and removed every trace of their construction actives. Norman also corrected a problem with door moulding (unrelated to the deck) at no extra charge. If I could give them a 10 star rating I would. You don't find contractors like this anymore.

It required some very complicated planning. John replied to my message immediately and we set up an appt for him to come look at the space and find out what my vision for this space was. He returned a reasonable bid and started the job shortly after our original meeting. I found John to be incredible at communication and being on time. He and Dillon were very respectful of my living space while the project was being constructed by cleaning up daily, laying a protective barrier on my floors to avoid any possibility of damage and they did an amazing job completing this project far beyond my expectations.
