Hayden gave me a lesson in how to lock the gates from either or both sides. They are so cool. The team totally cleaned up and removed all construction debris. OnPoint built us a 100 ft chain link fence along a creek side during a rainstorm. Terrible experience with Ben's Garage & Gates…read more Installer screwed the garage door opener into the sheetrock of the ceiling, instead of the ceiling joists. A few weeks later the opener fell off the ceiling and crashed onto my car, causing damage that will cost over $4,000 to repair. Despite vague promises on two occasions to pay the cost of the repair, no follow up. Now they take the position that I "accepted" the work and they are not responsible for the damage and will not even refund any of the purchase price. They claim to be bonded and insured, but I checked with the Oregon Construction Contractor's Board for a bond and found no registration for Ben's Garage & Gates. There was a registration for Abraham Bar Lyani, the apparent owner of Ben's, but it was suspended according to CCB because "insurance not on file."

We are so happy with our new garage doors and the overall level of service from Ben's.
