For various reasons, I ended up owing the grand sum of £16.24 for something. Due to shift work and working nights, it kept escaping my mind to go in and pay the outstanding. I understand the practice is a business, but I received endless phone calls and emails that made me feel like a criminal. The final insult was an email threatening me with a debt collection agency for the £16.24!!? I've paid 16 years of expensive pet insurance and had to pay thousands of pounds over the years to keep my pet healthy and safe. How disgraceful then to receive a communication threatening me with a debt collection agency for 16 quid! Obviously, I rang and paid the amount due, but I was disgusted to be made to feel like I was a criminal. More concerned with making money.

They missed so many things in our appointments(for a start..pregnancy), had trainees doing everything in check ups and no senior vets even touched my cat (no wonder so much was missed) overcharge massively, sell you medication and services that your cat does not need, make you go through hell and treat you like scum if you rescue from abroad and to top it all off when you report them to VCMS to try and deal with their malpractice (after spending weeks emailing back and forth with them trying to solve the issue) and deal with the neglect they have put you thriufh they refuse a mediation. I'm left having gone through months of hell because they chose to not inform me of a medicine that could have helped me so much sooner- instead ensured they could have as much of my money as possible. Amanda is rude, arrogant and self righteous and only has your bank balance in mind. They'll probably just delete this comment and hide more, but something has to be said. Awful practice! different views from different so called vets. my cat has been severely traumatised…read morehere twice now!! after a procedure done to remove packed faeces they returned her to me covered in faeces! they did not even bother to clean her up! so she was extremely upset. Then the next time they had to take blood. they would not let me come in the room with my cat, 3 staff held her down and they then returned her to the reception panting and doing open mouthed breathing which a cat only does when very distressed. I will seek another practice. This disgusting awful practice has really upset me knowing that i trusted them to help my beloved erderly cat.
