Not to come across as a feminist but a girl waited on me and was very reluctant to get her hands dirty testing my battery. She walked all over the store calling out the name of the only male working there. She finally tested my battery and it was bad. Since they install new batteries I wanted mine installed. Before getting me my new battery she took a phone call and rudely ignored me for the next 20 minutes. The manager (another female) noticed this and waited on me. When she found out I needed a battery installed she told the only male worker to do it and he ran off to the bathroom. The manager installed it but was very rude while doing it. I know I could have done it but I'm sorry...if you are going to get paid to do a job and the company you represent advertises it.then get your hands dirty and do it. I am now a loyal customer of Advanced Auto Parts down the street.

My husband is a Machinery Technician and we frequent Autozone stores around our area. We ended up…read morehaving to go to a different auto parts store after having two very unpleasant encounters with a salesmen at the Autozone on Neaderland Avenue. The salesman first refused to retrieve the part that we had previously purchased. We had the part delivered there from Beaumont. The salesman was very rude to us, he claimed that he could not find our part. It turns out that our part had arived at the Neaderland Autozone, luckily a different sales person was able to retrieve our part for us within 5 minutes of the other salesman declining to make an effort to help us. We took our part home and put it on our car. The part ended up braking, so we tried to return it. We encountered the same salesman again! This time he refused to believe that the part was faulty, so we left and bought a replacement part from a competitor's store. The sales person there assured us that if the part did not work then we would be able to return it. We only lost $40, but what a hassle. I still gave this store 3 stars because other sales people there are helpful.

Here's my experience. Today, 12/8/21, i arrived a little after 11 am to get tire replaced. When I pulled in, there was no other car there and workers were not doing anything. I thought I'd be done quick. Nope. Went in, got my ticket and waited. I did a little bit of shopping, no more than 20 minutes. I came back and no one touched my car. Another lady came in for tires then a few more people arrived. After another 30 minutes of waiting, i asked Sharhonda how much longer, she said soon. I waited an hour and I noticed them working on two other cars, I asked why they are starting on those cars and not mine. She asked and they gave a poor excuse since they actually forgot about my car. Her face proved my thought. They said they still have to finish the one car then mine. By now I lost my patience since Im already late from lunch and needed to get back to work. I then got upset when a man came in and said he needed his battery looked at. They jumped on it and still no one was working on my car. I asked Sharhonda why this was. By now she's upset with me and now she's rolling her eyes and getting an attitude with me. People around me noticed and were also wondering why my car hasn't been touched. After 1 pm, she got the manager who knew I was waiting and bugged him to work on tire. He grudgingly did. Took less than 30 minutes! He came in and gave me no answer, no eye contact, nor an apology. She rang me up with no eye contact and I left. Do not waste your time or money. There is no excuse for this kind of service. Go somewhere more professional. The Beaumont location is far more bettwr than they are.

The men at this location must've majored in Standing Around 101 because that's all they were doing…read more I came in to buy Freon for my car since my A/C was blowing hot, and I had my small dog with me who was overheating. One guy actually told me where the Freon was, and as I was ALREADY looking for it, I realized I needed coolant too. I brought my dog inside, explained he was overheating, and that I'd be in and out. Instead of showing the smallest bit of compassion or helping me grab the coolant, this same man suddenly told me I needed to take my dog back outside--never mind AutoZone's own pet-friendly policy. So apparently it's fine to bring in a dog unless it interrupts their standing-around time.They saw I was stressed and frantic and still did nothing. No offer to grab the coolant. No "let me help you so your dog doesn't get worse." Just blank stares like they were waiting for their next lunch break. If customer service isn't in your skill set, maybe consider a job that involves zero human contact--because this crew couldn't even pretend to care.
