They Took My Smile Away!!! A Terrible Experience - I Cannot Recommend This Office!!! I have been receiving treatment at this office since February. When I informed them that my insurance coverage would expire in May, they suddenly became extremely proactive. I was sometimes scheduled two or even three times a week so they could complete my treatment before my insurance expired. The treatment plan was very clear from the beginning. I was told that my four front teeth needed root canal retreatment before receiving new crowns. Because retreatment was not performed at this office, I was referred to an endodontist. I trusted my dentist's treatment plan and followed every recommendation. During the root canal retreatments, my existing crowns were severely damaged. They cracked, broke apart, and became unusable. The decayed teeth underneath became visible, and one of my front crowns was partially broken off completely. As a result, my front teeth were left looking terrible. I could no longer smile with confidence, bite into food, or eat properly. The emotional impact has been devastating. I even lost weight because I struggled to eat, and my confidence and mental well-being have suffered tremendously. When I returned to this office, I repeatedly asked when my new crowns would be placed. No one could give me a clear answer. Eventually, the dentist told me that they no longer recommended placing crowns on my front teeth because there might not be enough remaining tooth structure, and that I should simply stay the way I am. This was shocking because this possibility was never discussed before I agreed to treatment. If there was a risk that my crowns could be damaged during the recommended treatment and that there might not be enough remaining tooth structure afterward--possibly even requiring extractions--I should have been informed before being referred for the procedure. That would have allowed me to make an informed decision. Instead, I trusted the treatment plan created by this office, followed every instruction, and now I have been left with severely damaged front teeth and no solution. A dentist has a responsibility to explain the potential risks of a proposed treatment before asking a patient to proceed. My biggest disappointment is that I was never informed of these risks. Had I been told that this treatment could leave me with damaged front teeth, insufficient tooth structure, or even the possibility of extractions, I would have had the opportunity to decide whether I was willing to accept those risks before moving forward. To make matters worse, one of the dentists at this office accidentally damaged the edge of one of my crowns during treatment. When I pointed it out, I was told, "Don't worry, sweetheart, these crowns will be replaced anyway." I trusted that reassurance and continued with the treatment. Now, after everything I went through, I am being told that my crowns will not be replaced and that I should simply live with this appearance. The first insurance pre-authorization was denied because of missing documentation. After it was resubmitted, my insurance approved the treatment. Previously, this office always contacted me immediately after receiving insurance approval to schedule my appointments. This time, however, it has been over two weeks since the approval, and no one has contacted me. I have been left waiting without any explanation, right in the middle of my treatment. I trusted this office with both my dental health and my smile. Instead, I have been left with unfinished treatment, severely damaged front teeth, emotional distress, and a complete lack of communication. I cannot recommend this office to anyone, and I am seriously considering pursuing all legal remedies available regarding my experience read more

I have had two great experiences here! I felt that the dentist and the dental hygienist both did a wonderful job with my teeth cleanings. My visits were quick and straightforward. I like that the inside is decorated with cute paintings. Would recommend! read more

Horrible experience and customer service. You can come for an appointment and wait up to an hour plus if they are running behind. However, they will cancel your appointment and say "the doctor left" if you are 15 min late. No call to see if you are on your way nothing. No nothing. VERY inconsiderate and unorganized. Terrible place. Avoid like the plague. I set an appointment, took 2 1/2 months to grt one. 2 weeks beforehand they cancel my appointment and say call for a new one. I call and they wanted to put me all the at the end of the line again. You'd think since they cancelled they squeeze me in somewhere. They wanted me to wait another 2 1:/2 months! I have a serious issue I've been waiting to take care of and they wanted me to wait 5 months for an appointment! If they are this uncaring I can only imagine how bad their service is.  Save yourself a LOT of trouble and go elsewhere. read more

This office is stifling. I understand it's for children and adults but good lord when I left there, forget the teeth cleaning, I needed to submerge myself in holy water to cleanse my soul of the experience. The receptionist was as rude as can be with the highest pitched voice I have ever heard... like it was actually startling. I thought she was joking. The woman who was taking my x-rays was coughing the entire time and wiping her snot with her sleeve between shots. The actual dentist is rarely even there which implies the company just runs off cleanings and doesn't often handle much more than that. The pricing is outrageous and for absolutely no reason. Both my son and I have been going here since they opened. In the beginning, they were awesome, but over the last few years they have really gone downhill. They have sent me a cancellation, via text or by phone, that our scheduled cleanings have been canceled MULTIPLE times. It's really frustrating, especially since I have waited long periods of time for these cleanings. I called today to reschedule cleanings for both of us and the next 3pm opening they had was October. I explained that they have canceled our last few visits but the receptionist didn't seem to care on the phone. I informed her that I'll be finding a new dentist, there are many others we can see in the area. read more

If I could I rate zero stars I would. Waited 4 months for an appointment which was ridiculous in its own self. Then at 4am I got a text saying my appointment canceled due to staff shortages. This is the second time this has happened. Called to maybe get an appointment next day( ya know, a reasonable request) and they said they don't have anything till June! 8 months and still haven't been seen and the front desk acts like this is normal with no compassion. Got my son out of school early for a 2:30 appointment - When we got there I was told the appointment was cancelled and that my son wasn't allowed to be a patient any longer, since I left a bad review about a BAD experience at his last appointment. I'm not even sure why I gave this place a second chance because they are so unprofessional and the office is filthy and disgustingly dirty. If the office truly cared about their patients, then they would've rectified the mistake they made at my son's last appointment, rather than make the decision that no one in my family is allowed to be seen at that office. read more

I am very disappointed in this office. My child has been attending Growing Smiles and I have never had any sorts of issues until I do. Usually I am greeted with a kind smile however for my child's most recent appointment I was not greeted at all and advised that due to being 6 mins late my child was not able to be seen. I attempted to explain the reason for my lateness however my child's needs were not the concern for the front desk and staff today. I was advised that I again had to reschedule. I am very disappointed with the way that I was treated as for 6 years I myself was a front desk staff at a dental office. Regardless of the time of day I treated all patients with respect and understanding unfortunately that is not what Growing Smiles provided for my child's past 2 visits and I will not be returning to that location I will be taking my services somewhere I am respected and treated with care. read more

We were seen yesterday and treated by Dr. Joanna. The experience was completely unexceptional and uncalled for. My daughter is 5 years old and the recipient of extremely rude behavior by the oral surgeon. She cried sporadically while still remaining extremely still throughout the procedure. The Dr. initially tried to calm her, as did I, although she became extremely frustrated quickly and started making statements such as ,"You're stressing me out", "your crying is going to upset the other children", "we know you're being brave, you don't have to cry to show your mommy that you're doing something hard", and "if you keep crying, I'm going to ask your mommy to leave." (Which I NEVER would!) This was COMPLETELY uncalled for, and made the situation absolutely traumatizing for my 5 year old daughter. read more

Great dentists, terrible front staff. Delete your appointments, are super rude and sassy, will blacklist you if you cancel an appointment without sufficient notice rather than just charging a fee. Yet they have lost my appointments before. Even the dentists talk about how bad the front staff is. read more

This horrible place just Canceled my kids dental appointment that I made 6 months in advance. They Only gave me one phone call to confirm the appointment which was the day before the appointment. I missed the call at 8am since im at work and the message that was left from them said if they didnt hear from me they would cancel the appoinment. I called them back on my lunch break to find out they canceled all four of my kids appointments!!!! They had no reason to cancel them at all! I called back to confirm like the message said but they already took my kids off the schedule and booked other patients instead! I am no longer taking my kids to this horrible practice since this is how they treat their patients. Also, I have a developmentaly delayed child and they are horrible at dealing with kids with special needs. I suppose this was a blessing in desguise because as soon as I got off the phone with them I called my insurance company and immediatly found a new dentist who happens to specialize with kids with special needs. I cant believe I use to recommend people here, The staff are absolutly the worse. read more

This is the worst dentist ever. My mom went there for her routine cleaning as her insurance changed. They are the worst. They didnt do the regular cleaning, only took xrays and asked for the come back as they wanted to make more money. Please avoid this place as they are horrible! read more

They cancelled my appointment the day of after I took off work. Then they cancelled my wife and kids appointment by telling my wife WHEN SHE WALKED IN THE DOOR FOR HER APPOINTMENT after she took the day off work. No notification, nothing. The staff are rude and incompetent and the place isn't the cleanest either. With so many other good options just save yourself the headache read more

Two stars because the dentist I had was amazing, but you all are not understanding of emergencies. I had to cancel two appointments due to car trouble, once breaking down on the highway (I travel two hours to get there) and the second time my engine was misfiring, both unpredictable, unfortunate incidence that were completely out of my control. Yet, I get told I can no longer be seen at that office. Meanwhile, my root canal is now infected due to a temp that keeps popping off and a permanent crown barely hanging on on the other side. My mouth is in so much pain due to this, and still I'm not allowed to be seen. I've never been so upset with a dental office. This was my first dental office up here since moving here from Texas . I guess people from up here don't believe in unpredictable situations. read more

I originally LOVED this dentist. Everyone here was so professional and welcoming and I never had any issues. The last two visits, we weren't able to get X-rays for my son, but somehow, he went from having no cavities to 4 cavities and insisted they needed to be filled asap. The simple fact that the doctor didn't even look in his mouth yet claimed he had cavities didn't sit right with me and so I decided to pay out of pocket and get a second opinion and low and behold, my son does not have any cavities. Not saying this will happen to everyone, but please be careful. Seems like Dr. Sekhon is out to make a pretty penny and doesn't have his patients best interest at heart. read more

I was there today I saw Dr Allen she was great she fixed a chip tooth she was extra KIND and knowledgeable she did an amazing job on the filling first time meeting her she really let me talk about where my chip tooth was and asked me if it was fixed it was so hard to find & she found it immediately & fixed the roughness . I'll just start by saying I'm terrified of the dentist and my teeth are extremely sensitive. But Dr. Hud and Assistant Lauren DeRose made my appointment very easy and comforting! Assistant Lauren DeRose really takes care of patients by being very gentle and assuring. Dr. Hud fixed one of my cavities and she made sure I was happy and comfortable the whole time. If you're looking for a new dentist this is the place to go! read more
