When it comes to sewing, they are great for advice and always interested in hearing about projects you're working on. I've shopped there on and off over the years, mostly for patterns that have long since been discontinued. The ones I have found have been great! Their fabric selection, though tends to be geared mostly towards quilting, really does offer a wider variety than one would think. Also, the man who fixes sewing machines is amazing. Such a nice person, and always willing to answer questions. His quick turnaround time was also surprising. He tuned up my machine (which hadn't been serviced in several years) and even left a note with it suggesting something that would make it run better. Big stores are great. But the quality of this store really reminds of how valuable small businesses really are. Stop in and take a look around. Talk to the friendly staff and see what they have to offer. You will not be disappointed.

The name had to be embroidered to match the style of the original name. I brought it to them, and they did it in the same day, for a very reasonable price. Excellent workmanship.
